Aphex Twin / Autechre / Boards of Canada / Tangerine Dream / Jean Michel Jarre / Brian Eno / any other ambient / IDM artist

The school radio started playing sound and vision, thought that was just odd then someone near me said she hates Christmas music.

>mfw synths = Christmas

None.

probably Low by Bowie

If you want to pass your tests or exams - none.

Suppose I'm doing homework

Why do you think so so? I find it helping sometimes

You think einstein needed a music "playlist" while he worked on his inventions?
Every kid I've met who has a high gpa just takes coffee or adderall and works in silence

Fair point

>einstein did (blank) therefore every smart person must do (blank)
Bravo user

Elaborate further.

The Einstein part needs proof, and even then it's not remotely relevant.

Do you think you'll become like Einstein because you follow his methods of gaining knowledge? You will always be a loser with average intelligence at best. Besides, people receive and interpret information differently, so that means listening to music or not while doing so means nothing regardless.

I forget this board has autism. did you ignore the second part where I said the kids in my university study in silence?
If you study better with music go right ahead.

Studying is for brainlets anyways

Warm drone like Celer is my go-to

I'm the one who originally posted this - you can try to pass a test while listening to music just for the sake of it and see if you're actually able to do it. Here's a study confirming that a quiet environment and studying in silence are the most beneficial conditions for cognitive performance.

Why so many threads about studying lately?

Jesus christ...kill yourselves

Also Low demands concentration and focus, you have to sit down listen to it and do nothing else

Depends what kind of work I'm doing

If it's "study" study as in memorization work where I need to stay calm I use
telepathtelepath.bandcamp.com/
Or any other number of abstract ambient slow noise artists that include zen shit like rain as part of the music
youtube.com/watch?v=x0xxaXxXBW8

If it's creative work like modelling then I use a lot of prog metal because the time signature changes and fast irregular melodies are intellectually stimulating and really make me think

Then also other artists that are somewhere in between or completely different
youtube.com/watch?v=_yu18Lf-wQI

And also piano shit

And if it's crunch time and I'm running low on sleep I use eurobeat

This You're a literal < 100IQ subhuman if you need to study to succeed

Yeah until 11th Grade. good luck when you get there.

GAS - POP is the ideal
