Man I will defend the Lana, to me she's so fucked up when you look into her past. Some alcoholic desperate for fame, so desperate she gets surgery and allows herself to be molded into a pop star. Born To Die (Paradise Edition), just feels so messed up to me when you compare it to her other stuff, and how much she's had to change, it's so weird to think about how she really is the dark side of the American Dream.

Besides that Honeymoon is a pretty decent album.

Coldplay - Yellow
Oasis - Wonderwall

while I didn't know any of that
>alcoholic
>desperate for fame
>gets surgery to become famous/better looking
these are not redeemable qualities in a person, let alone an artist

This dude never realised vaporwave isn't that great.

I know that's why I love it. She's just a complete mess, and it's so weird to think about. Especially looking at The Born To Die cover. It literally looks like a fake human just placed there. Her fanbase are annoying, but I do appreciate the entire mess she's made herself into, and actually feel kinda weirded out listening to the music haha.

For real. This board will never acknowledge her as anything but 'pleb shit.'
also Honeymoon might be decent but it was a complete letdown to fans.

you're definitely right that vaporwave isn't that great in general, but I hold the albums that I have from the genre in relatively high regard. Shader is legitimately a great album

I'll give it a look. The only vaporwave album that I really enjoyed was VHS Logos - Mantra.

>Flipper - Sex Bomb
>Scratch Acid - Damned for All Time
>Kraftwerk - Computerworld
>Buddy Holly - Rave On
>Rudimentary Peni - Alice Crucifies the Peadophiles
>The Urinals - Ack Ack Ack Ack
>No Trend - Die
>Leadbelly - On a Monday
>Sutcliffe Jugend - Solace
>The Beatles - Across the Universe
>Children's Hour - Gutter Puppet

Never listened to any of this shit.

Hope you don't frequent Anyone Can Play Guitar. >Lana Del ray, Why?

10/10

>Two Door Cinema Club
Why? Did you have a phase when that song came out?

What is this? I'm guessing Electronica.

The Doors are alright. Been meaning to have a deeper look into their shit.

>never listened to Rush, King Crimson, Neutral Milk Hotel, Candy Claws
????

Tourist History was an alright album. I enjoyed the sound on the album when it came out and it reminds me of a girl I used to date. So it has sentimental value too.

I've briefly listened to Rush and it's not my thing, same with King Crimson. Neutral Milk Hotel for like 5 seconds, and never even heard of Candy Claws. I am pretty picky. I'd have to go back and listen to them more in depth though to have a formative opinion really.

The Flaming Lips - Waiting for a Superman
The Velvet Underground - Rock & Roll
Duster - Two-way Radio
King Crimson - The Power to Believe IV: Coda
Hella - Republic of Rough and Readt
Oneohtrix Point Never - Immanence
Sikiera - Idziemy Na Skraj
Circulatory System - Tiny Plates on Canvas
Butthole Surfers - Backass
Blur - Best Days

Yeah I know that feel, Nostalgia. I have a few albums like that.

fair enough. I just figured those bands were popular enough that most anons had heard them

I'm lazy and from the immediate reaction didn't think I'd like them.

eh, if you don't like prog rock I can see why you wouldnt like Rush or King Crimson.
btw ignore the memes and give Neutral Milk Hotel a listen, they're actually an incredible band. Candy Claws is good if you like extreme reverb and psychedelic-tropicallia type music

>Nujabes- Next View
>Danny Brown- Die Like a Rockstar
>David Bowie- It Aint Easy
>Quasimoto- MHBs
>Why?- Gnashville
>ATCQ- Jazz
>DANGERDOOM- Bada bing

The xx - hot like fire
Chairlift - unfinished business
Pet shop boys - happiness
Unknown mortal orchestra - like acid rain
Eminem, Aristotle & and mark bass - Ken Kaniff (skit)
Pink Floyd - Astronomy domine
Hanna & Andrea - always on my mind

You were probably the kid in middle school to dress up as Slim Shady to be edgy.

you look way to much into things, you seem corny as fuck.

Maybe I just enjoy context in my music? It's not really looking too much into shit, it's literally what her music is. I mean if you can happily critique art without even questioning context you're a bit of a pleb.

dude, just stop already.

>racontours- salute your solution
>Mac Demarco- just to put me down
>ty segall and Mikal cronin- doctor doctor
>Mac Demarco- freaking out the neighborhood

>Kanye west- real friends
