Okay yall. I need your help

Okay yall. I need your help.
My heart feels like like it's
>beating kinda fast
>feels tight
>sharp pain, worse when I breath too deeply
Thus has happened for most of my life, but it generally lasted like five minutes at the most. Lately it's been lasting longer. Right now it's been happening for probably about half an hour or more. I don't know what to do and Google is no help.
Anything?

Fucking retard go see a doctor. Heart problems aren't something you wait around for

Well, I see two options here.

>Go see a doctor
>Possibly kill yourself

I say option number two since you're a faggot.

Age and gender? Any previous diagnosis or family history of heart failure, heart murmer anything cardiac? Medications?

Are you breathing too deeply often? Could it be you're hyperventilating?

I can't see a doctor right now, otherwise I would have.

18 and Male. No real history of heart problems or anything, and no medications.

No, I breath normally.

Are still alive and want to stay that way? Then go see a doctor. Do you want to save a buck and ask Cred Forums for advice, then just go step in front of a bus.

severe panic attack, they get worse as you age. your pain is all in your head, and when you realize that you will get better, see a doctor in the mean time and grab some xzanax, don't abuse it and become a homeless degenerate with a busket begging for pennies. you'll be fine when you come to the realization that everything dies and you have been on borrowed time since you were born.

use it wisely.

medical doctorfag here

it could be pleurisy- essentially, inflammation of the pericardial wall tissue.

if you are over the age of 18, you should take an NSAID. if these flair-ups do continue you should obviously go see your doctor, who will probably refer you to a respiratory or cardiovascular specialist

I get this a lot as well and it's happened my whole life, went to the hospital for it once so I'll save ya a trip and tell you what he told me: definitely nothing extreme being that I clearly wasn't having a heart attack or any related issue, probably a form of indigestion.

Basically it'll never amount to anything unless you work yourself up into panic attack over it, which will cause your heart to beat faster and you'll think something else is going on. I know, because this has happened to me.

Hypoglcemia. Low blood sugar.

Nah, its not that. Thanks though.

This is what I'm thinking it is. It makes the most sense. I just took an anti-inflammatory so hopefully.

Winrar just relax and distract yourself maybe drink some tea

it's lupus

i had something like that recently and thought it was angina. turned out a small portion of my lung collaposed. spontaneous pneumothorax

SupraVentricular Tachycardia Take a deep breath and bear down like you are taking a shit. If that does not work, fill a bowl with icy cold water and plunge your face in. Both of these techniques will induce bradycardia. If these don't work, you could call a hospital, they will give you Adenosine or in severe cases Synchronized Cardio Version. However, you could theoretically stay in this state indefinitely and be fine. Don't worry.

It is not pleurisy, pleurisy is not an inflammation of the pericardia wall tissue. Pleurisy does not come on spontaneously for 5 minutes and go away.

>Take a deep breath and bear down like you are taking a shit.

>trying to get op to bust a vessel

>spontaneously for 5 minutes and go away.

panic attack dipshit!

No way homie, it will stimulate a vasovagal reaction. Which causes spontaneous Bradycardia and will instantly clear the symptoms of SVT.

call 911 and say tell them your symptoms. go into debt with medical bills but be alive.

also stop smoking and drinking caffeine. no really you have to. I got my heartrate down by a third by cutting out energy drinks. I also sleep a lot better, which is good for the heart. if you're afraid enough you won't miss any of that shit.

also avoid sweating while you're having those symptoms

really though call 911 or whatever you have to do to see a doctor.

sitting and doing that could kill you if you're having heart trouble. this is why people die on the shitter

If it were a panic attack the complaints would be difficulty breathing, tingly hands and lips and a sudden and intense fear of impending doom. Those are not the symptoms OP listed.

the time it took me to type this i could have looked it up and fact checked myself.

precordial catch syndrome

it's the muscles ("muscles") on your chest getting irritated and becoming inflated rubbing against your lungs. or cancer

op google pneumothorax, i had it earlier this year and probably have it again now, same symptoms to be checked for

If you have an ECG machine or heart monitoring device, perhaps upload a rhythm strip, you may have afib, aflutter, svt or psvt, vt, 1st 2nd or 3rd degree heart block...
Go to see a dr., Retard.

I've had plenty of panic attacks and it's definitely not that. I was freaking out a LITTLE bit at the beginning but I've calmed down completely now, it just hasn't gone away.

You forgot to reply to one of those images.
R.I.P.
May you be an example to everyone here

Google it hero. He is experiencing the exact symptoms of SVT. People with SVT live full lives and if OP calls an ambulance the first thing the Paramedic is going to do after hearing the symptoms is have OP bear down to induce a Vasovagal reaction. If that does not work they will give Adenosine on the scene, if that does not work and OP wants to go to the hospital they will take him. But, they won't do anything else unless it were compounded by serious underlying problems. Which, OP would have listed in the complaints.

yeah because if any of the symptoms dont match or are different than the textbook, theres no way thats what is happening
retard

>my unique experience with panic attacks trumps all others and fuck what other people suffering from them think.

don't be an asshole.

>medical doctorfag here
>it could be pleurisy- essentially, inflammation of the pericardial wall tissue
>doctorfag
>pleurisy - pericardial tissue

you were trained in the carribean, weren't you?

Well, yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Good job.

Anxiety. And hypochondria. its a guess, but probably this. Panic attacks feel like this. Get a chest X-ray, only way to be sure.

OP here, its definitely not a panic attack.

I get the same and its a muscle under my ribs. If i breath very deep i feel a pop and it goes away. But yeah if you are getting and radiating pain (from the heart) out to your sides or you are feeling vomitty and nauseus go see a doc.

SupraVentricular Tachycardia, or SVT, google it.

you might have the high 5 user, get tested.

It should once the NSAID kicks in

Ooops, the pericardial pleural tissue.

No it won't, pleurisy comes on slowly and lasts days to weeks, an NSAID will not make it go away. It would merely dull the pain slightly by causing a decrease in inflammation. Pleurisy is an infection, not an acute attack.

Pleurisy can be a secondary condition. And it can be genetic.

You are right, but again, it would not be an acute onset for 5 minutes at a time.

can still be panic. your sympathetic nervous system could keep pumping adrenaline into your body which rasies your heart rate which is literally happening to me as we speak. You could also be hypoglycemic so try a nice meal

best way to find out, go get an EKG. Odds are, your heart is ok and you just have panic disorder. Try Lexapro at about 5mg a day

*50mg a day

correction

What the fuck? I'm not that guy, but he offers you a perfectly reasonable option and you dismiss it for the worse of the two. That's paranoid and or anxious behavior. I feel like it reinforces his suggestion.

Not hypoglycemia, hypoglycemia causes nausea, dizziness and confusion. Hypoglycemia does not "go away after 5 minutes" on its own. Hypoglycemia would require sugar to enter the blood stream, either by eating or IV injection.

Of course I'm right, I'm a doctor. If it's a symptom of a chronic deformation that causes a flare up under certain conditions in such a way that the membrane is irritated by grinding (i.e. from taking a deep breath)... well, you see where I'm going with this.

Reaching for Xanax without knowing for sure you need it is a terrible idea. It's highly addictive.

>I'm a doctor.

Doctors don't give Xanax out anymore. Not for that. They'll put you through fifty fucking antidepressants and mood stabilizers first. If you ask for it they'll refuse to see you because you're "an addict"
If you aren't already on Xanax, at least in my state, you won't ever be on it. They're basically phasing it out due to addictiveness and my doctor being a pussy.
>tl;dr: they'll put you on a super physically addicting antidepressant that fries your brain if you miss a dose by an hour, their logic is its better than you get addicted to Xanax
>Jew logic

No you are not a doctor. Pleurisy does not flare up for 5 minutes and then go away. There is no such thing as a chronic deformation. A chronic condition and a deformation are two completely separate categories. If some one has one leg that is too short, a real doctor is not going to say "oh man well come in next week and if it is still too short we might be looking at a chronic deformation." You are not a doctor, pal.

Reaching for medication should not be the first inclination of a nerd being diagnosed on the internet by a bunch of potential trolls.
I'm saying he dismissed the one he didn't like on presumably no basis (since he offered us none).
You don't necessarily need to treat things like panic disorder and general anxiety disorder by hurling medication at it anyway.

>see a doctor

>grab some zanax

>don't become a homeless asshole addicted to zanny bars

was the best advice i could offer, i struggled with panic attacks for a while till i just started drinking life away, it's not for everyone but it works for me.

Go back to reading WebMD, brah, and let the real doctor give advice.

I don't need to look at webmd, this shit is 101. But, as you have mentioned, how does an anonymous person on Cred Forums have more clout than webmd? Your logic is killer. "Go back to WebMD, loser! This guy has panic cancer pleurisies of his neuro cardiastic fantastic! Take Xanax and Jews! I are Doctor!"

where is the pain located exactly? Side, middle, upper, lower, etc?

I'm inclined to say it's anxiety if you're 18 and healthy. Either way, you should consult a doctor.

Anxiety can cause very strange physical symptoms.

>be me, .mil, 20ish
>loved my job, worked my ass off all the time
>CIWS tech
>doworkatnightwithheadlamp.why
>drank asstons of coffee all day
>didnt sleep much good
>started getting what you described, but pain radiated into lower jaw/teeth
>fuckthat.mil
>got bad sometimes, didnt knwo what to do
>woke up at night once, had the ohshit feeling
>wanted to call for help but couldnt, laying in rack freaking
>finally subsided
>got appt like i shoulda couple years ago

The radiating pain thing got them but in the end they narrowed it down to anxiety. Even though I was not feeling bad stress I was fucking my shit up. Went down to 2 cups of coffee a day and took time for myself to relax, it was hard to do but I dont get that shit anymore.

Do you do energy drinks or overwork yourself?

This sometimes happens to me to, but it usually happens after I've been sitting on a weird position where my chest is kinda scrunched together. You're heart rate is probably fast because of the pain and nervousness. I have postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, so my heart beats pretty fucking fast.

>overwork yourself?
this is a fucking problem with you kids, you think the world should be easy, and for some it is and good for them. the lucky sperm club is a minority and the world works a shitty job around them, get used to it.

Nah bruh, I'm talking about when you work way more than you have to and get too into shit. Maybe care too much.
