Anyone familiar with carrying a Kel-Tec PF-9? I've got a Sig P229 that I carry daily, but it gets close to printing more than I'd like in some of my slimmer fitting suits, and sometimes I'd like the option of an ankle holster if I'm likely to be in closer physical contact with people I'd rather not be aware. From what I can tell the size is about what I'm looking for and it has decent enough capacity, anyone have experience with it or alternative suggestions?

I've never had a keltec, but I did have a SCCY cpx 2. Holds 10 rounds of 9mm and is very concealable. I'm a 160 pound stick and I could conceal that thing with an outside the waistband holster in summer. I believe it's still around 275, and it shot well for me. I only sold it since my hands are large and it was a subcimpact so it made my hands cramp a bit. But if you got the hands for it I'd definitely take a look at it.

That's the primary concern, the time and effort it would take to access, but I'd be carrying this in slim-fit suits - pocket carry wouldn't be an option, traditional IWB carry wouldn't be an option, it's pretty much a sort of last resort, better to have it be inconvenient than not present sort of thing. Absolutely, the next thing I'd look into would be one of those compression shirts with a built in holster type thing near where a shoulder holster would be, but that might still print more than I'd like. Also there's the option of a sort of belly band thing. I think near the ankle where I can get away with a looser tailored fit is pretty much my only option here, save carrying off-body which has obvious drawbacks.

Last time I checked, Texas doesn't allow in church. I didn't know they changed the law about court. I'm pretty sure they don't allow on school properties either, unless that's changed in the last 10 years.
