they are very fun, if you like games that are mostly visual novels. there's some point and click style gameplay as well. I like them a lot. you could try the first 4 on an emulator. play them in order though.

I thought it had no interesting mechanics compared to MtG or other TCG's, but what really killed it for me was how important RNG is and how tight 30 card decks are.

I was hoping for them to introduce more creative mechanics but they kept going down the same path.
The client is also pretty bad and could use a lot of easy quality of life changes.

ah there's a lot of good stuff. tons of great rpgs. do you like srpgs at all? stella glow was fantastic.

oh and basically most things from atlus and square are good bets. I'm a big fan of rpgs, I dunno about other stuff. monster hunter is really good too, there's 3U and 4U and now generations, but I don't know if the servers are still active for online on 4U anymore. definitely not for 3U so if you get that one be ready to only play the single player experience.

I have the weirdest RNG, if it's something meaningless I will get the best outcome, if it's a ranked game or an important roll I get the worst. Every, single, time.

It's not like other online TCGs have pretty UIs, but at least they don't get ridiculous bugs, like the "new" function while searching your collection, that was bugged for a couple months.
It took them way too long to allow spectating in game, and they still don't allow you to spectate pack openings, something that people have been asking forever as well.

But now I crave some TCG, I don't know anyone who plays magic on my town and setting up Magic Workstation can be bothersome.
