It's actually not that bad of a website. The subreddits on there differ greatly from each other, some are shit and some are really helpful. It's a great community but you gotta sift through the shitty subreddits that just spam memes nonstop in order to reach the good shit. Also if you say something they don't like then you'll usually get downvoted to hell and back, but again, this depends on the subreddit you're in.

Waaaaaaaaaaaay to many pretentious assholes on reddit. I saw a highly upvoted comment once on some thread about fat people. The comment went along the lines of "skinny people will become adipose later in life if not careful". I couldn't believe someone was so pretentious as to use that word instead of just saying fat.
