I've lived alone for 3 years now. When I first started living alone, in a town quite separated from my friends, and GFless, I was quite upset. But now I am very content in that solitude. I have a lot more time for myself and can engage in projects that I otherwise couldn't for fear of having a flatmate or a partner stumble across it. It's enlightening and underrated.
