And 429'd means that the link got too much traffic, so dropbox removed it. Or blocked people from using the link for a while. Saves them bandwidth.

Yeah, my bad user. 429 is too much traffic( for dropbox anyways.) 404 is taken down, some network error somewhere, or something is offline.
