When someone starts a thread, there's a reasonable expectation of a theme to the thread, unless OP calls "post random shit ITT". I can appreciate that Cred Forums is not what it was, and I for one could easily be persuaded to encourage the spamming of sissy loli and cock rate threads (particularly as loli is actually illegal in my jurisdiction, so finding any images on my HDD, even thumbnails, could lead me to be placed on a sex offenders' register). But I understand that that's both not random and censorship - which is the provenance of the mods

The censorship vibe came, really, from just one dude that was along the whole thing. He focused too much on porn threads. Originally, this was just an aspect. The talk was about staleness. It's repetitive. Most repetitive of all? Porn threads, so let's begin denouncing them. No one wanted porn to disappear from Cred Forums. Just repetitiveness in general. The spam was to stir the pot, and call attention to the thing. Not to try and bully people out of the board. Perhaps with some individuals, but hey you know how thing goes.
Still, there's one thing. Cred Forums has rules that are not imposed by the mods. The rules of the internet as ascribed by Cred Forums found the whole ethos of this place. It's not rules as in, you shall do this. But as in let's play this game lads.
These rules mention that nothing is ever proprietary to anyone, and ideas and concepts should ever be stolen and distorted (thread purpose), and more directly, every thread can and should be derailed. Now there's a bunch of people here that don't want to play this game anymore, but to many other this game, these rules, are what is called Cred Forums.

Well, mate. Let's finish with this: leaving it as it is, or make it become like it was before are not the only possible options. I've been saying this all morning. Everyday there are threads where people comment there's potential on Cred Forums that's not being realized. Others come and say 'it can't be realized, it's impossible'. So you see there are two groups, they disagree. Sometimes they'll clash.
One other thing may be worth thinking about, I guess. When Cred Forums became that great beast it once was, everything about it would seem utterly impossible just a second before it actually happened.
