My best friend is anorexic. Her parents have spent tens of thousands of dollars sending her to treatment. She's been in and out of the hospital for 3 years now. Currently she is in the hospital, and she's still losing weight. Short from sedating her and putting in a feeding tube there is only so much they can do.
