Ask a Regular Member with the RCMP anything. I did a previous post a while back and it got some decent responses.

For those of you that don't know, the RCMP is the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The RCMP is the federal police service across Canada and also provides basic policing services to much of the country when they do not have their own Provincial or City departments.

How many Indian whores have you raped in the forest?

Why do you shoot niggers for fun?

Because it's 2015

None, although many throw themselves at you to try and get out of trouble. I only did a fairly short stint in some reserve policing, mostly just for relief call out.

OP here, so people know its me responding.

do you pocket dope you confiscate? I wouldn't be able to resist a huge bag of coke if I found it.

No of course not, and I've done some pretty decent seizures. I've never done drugs so that temptation for me does not exist.

How slutty are female officers? Chances of my bagging one if I flirted?

What's CCC § 495?

Ever watched 'The Shield'. great show. bad cops.

When Trudoe leagalizes weed, will you have less job busting small time growers?

How important is/was the investigation of those missing first national women to the RCMP

Are you aware that the Joint Task Force and JTF2 are working with RCMP kidnapping innocent citizens for "research and development" purposes?

why do you wear those gay red outfits with the smokey bear hats?

Why are you all so fucking racist?

Because that's one of the uniforms.

Doesn't happen.

My experience so far has been they typically play with only other male officer's. So I'm gonna say probably slim to none on that one.

S 495 is authority for peace officer's to arrest without warrant in the various circumstances that it would apply. Essentially it's where the "reasonable grounds" for us comes in to play versus the average citizen who must "witness" an indictable offence.

Great show. As a cop though obviously they're bad and I would never go that route....but you understand a bit more.

If you think we bust small time growers now you're sorely mistaken.

Well? If you can't answer this, you're full of shit.

Good job.

thats like saying you wear leather shorts because your boyfriend bought them for you.

No, it's one of the official uniforms.

What's the consensus within the force on legalizing all drugs? or weed only? You guys tired of this losing battle war on drugs?

Like I already explained, I did not do much reserve or Norther policing but I will put it with my own experiences with missing persons.

Someone who is involved in high risk lifestyle (drug use, constant run aways, criminal activity, sex trade) it makes it difficult for us to track them down. The unfortunate thing is so many of these girls lost their lives, but if you don't want to get found (especially "missing persons" with warrants) it makes our job very difficult.

I'm sure buddy, enjoy the tinfoil hat. I could see it being a FEDSOC operation but that's about it.

I love my Serge...so hot though in the summer.

Care to state why you think that?

How do you like all those Muslims destroying your beautiful country? Oh yeah. Because it's 2015.

Your job would be so much easier if the Canadian legislature would enact Jim Crow laws for all non white Canadians.

how many times have your cop buddies taken aboriginal people out for a "starlight tour"? If your answer is zero you're a lying piece of shit.

My personal opinion on marijuana is like most people. I grew up in BC my whole life so I was around it a lot. It should be legalized and taxed and controlled by the government like liquor and tobacco. We would still need to crack down on "illegal" non sanctioned govt grows, but it would be a lot easier for us as Health Canada would actually be willing to share their information with us.

When it comes to legalization of other drugs I would disagree. If you look at the fentanyl crisis in the Lower Mainland right now it's a good example of why we need to control this. Part of me think's we're interfering with Darwin's plan by interfering with overdose, but I know it's also our job to help.

I have never charged someone with possession of marijuana. I've arrested for it obviously because it gives search powers. I have charged for Breach of conditions if they're not allowed to possess drugs. But if you're a dealer it's free game if I can prove it. I work in an area where we're combating a lot of violent crime associated to the drugs trade right now.

Watching you beat homeless drunks in "self defence", getting stopped and searched because I was walking with a group of natives for no reason constantly, seeing how you treat a group of white teenagers instead of a group of native teenagers, and having a friend murdered by cops and them claiming he walking into a freezing cold river and laid down. I'm native and was lucky enough to be born looking 100% white I have seen both sides. 90% of cops are bad people.

I'll just respond to this post since i'm assuming you're the same person posting all of the native stuff.

Did you grow up on a reserve? I'll tell you my experiences is essentially the wild west. I've been punched and threatened more on a reserve than anywhere else in my service. Alcoholism and drug abuse is RAMPANT in some of these communities and there's a reason that incarceration and violent crime rates are so high among First Nations population. You have to have a somewhat heavy handed response in some calls. And i'm sure you got stopped for "no reason".

And also if Native's don't like the RCMP in community then kick them out and start your own Tribal police. Blood Tribe and others have done it. The Indian Act allows you that opportunity and you even qualify for federal funding to do it. But a lot of communities cant because they would not have a chance of getting the qualified applicants they would require.

I knew you wouldn't want to answer this question because you would either have to lie or admit you work with sadistic assholes. Amerifat here.

I disagree about marijuana. But to each their own.

>I work in an area where we're combating a lot of violent crime associated to the drugs trade right now.

The only way to end the Cartels and gangs is to have all drugs in the hands of legitimate, regulated corporations. As unpalatable as that may sound. People will get whatever substance they want one way or another.

I'm Native American; I was born in California. My father is an immigrant from Germany. My mother is a descendent from European settlers. I'm a Native American.

I want to join the Mounties one day, but I smoke weed currently. If trudeau legalizes marijuana does that mean I would no longer be barred from applying on basis of drug use? also since i have you how was polygraph interview?

Yes, you will be barred. Drug abuse (including alcohol) is not allowed.

First of all no it was thone 2 posts second of all thanks for confirming my thoughts that you are racist and go into situations with natives looking to use a "heavy hand". Also can you tell me exactly what is illegal about 5 teenages walking down the street? Is that part of your training alienation of the minorities in the community? Why were we never stopped when it was a huge pack of white kids? Cops are racist that's a fact I have seen both sides.

Not necessarily, if your drug use occurred during a time when it was still illegal I could see it being an issue. But it's a moot point. The standards have been lowered to get more women and minorities in so some of the idiots they have coming through right now you'll be fine if you're like 2 years clean I bet.

My polygraph was good. I knew the guy was gonna grill me on stuff, it's his job. Just be honest, stick to your guns and just make sure your answers are the same as on your initial application.

The standard has been lowered
> because it's 2015

So stay on your own land and out of white territory? That's what you're saying?

At first I thought you were lying but yeah you really sound like a cop.

That's not racist. I told you my experiences policing on a reserve was that I knew going to calls I was going to have a more likely chance of having to use force. For some reason, the Natives loved fighting cops after beating their wife or something.

Don't dress like a 'gangsta' prick, walk or talk like a druggie trouble maker and you won't get bugged. simple.

You ever wanked off a moose?

Now you're just nitpicking my words and only reading the parts you want to. Enjoy your constantly blaming society for your own shortfalls.

OP here, good point. People don't seem to think of this. Can it be called "profiling", sure it could. The reality is we have a distinct profile of who commits the majority of crime in our districts and it would be improper for us not to address that.

No comment, OP? This seems to me to be perfectly rational, my statement that is.

And that has what to do with ordinary citizens? Do you go into every situation with white people assuming they are serial killers because of that stereotype? Are you searching for dead bodies in every white household? And why do you assume I know all about the ins and outs of reserves and that's where all my experience with pigs has been? Because I'm native? See what I am saying here you're piling on more and more racist bullshit.

Faggot

"Ask me anything. I'll ignore the hard questions and lie if I need to, but feel free to ask".

fify

What shortfalls? Because I'm native I haven't don't shit with my life? I live in a 5 bedroom house, my cupboards are full, two new trucks in the drive way and all my kids are in sports. I think I'm doing pretty fucking well for 28 officer racist or is it constable racist?

Stop blaming the police because you hate being a Native.

What's it like being a shill for big oil? I was at a peaceful protest a while back, mostly just to hang out with some buddies, I didn't actually care that much about the pipeline. One guy in the crowd throws a rock, feebly, in the police's direction, clearly not actually trying to hit anyone. Clearly an undercover cop giving the cops a reason to beat protesters. And boy oh boy, did they ever lay a beatdown on some protesters that day. One of my friend's, who did nothing wrong, ended up in the hospital with a concussion. Oddly enough, the police completely ignored the guy who threw the rock.

Is it just generally understood amongst the rcmp that liberals are subhuman and deserve a beatdown just for peacefully protesting a pipeline? Why do conservatives (as cops generally are) feel the need to resort to violence when confronted with an opposing ideology? Is it because you know deep down that you're wrong?

I can't tell if this guy is trolling or really this butthurt.

If one lives in a duplex which has been modified to become a single living space and a search warrant is executed for one address do the police need a separate warrant for the other address?

Legally speaking they're still registered as 2 separate addresses with the municipality.

He's not answering because it's a stupid question.

So my clothing style is different from what your fascist world views demand so you can stop and hassle me? Thank God for smart phones hey? We can all video tape this horseshit now.

hows that cop cock taste?

Calm down Jamal.

It can easily be incorporated in one warrant.

> lawyer here

I've seen the arguments for it as well, but like I said Canada just isn't prepared for that yet. We don't have a system in place to address that. I'm not naive enough to say that we shouldn't begin treating drug addiction as a health issue and not as a criminal issue though.

Are you asking if I've done a "starlight tour", no I have not, because like I said I didn't spend much time there. Now if you rephrase your question to have I ever laid the boots to a guy that deserved? Yeah I have, and I had no regrets over it.

answer this you cuck

...

Thanks for answering. That kins of sucks but hopefully the cops would be dumb.

See all my drugs are on one side of the house, so I was hoping if I were ever raided I could tell them to get a separate warrant.

HI.

WHY DON'T YOU WORK HARDER TO ARREST MORE PEDERASTS FROM Cred Forums?

.........I'm white.

>royal canadian kilted yaksmen
FTFY

Stop thinking you're brown then.

How indepth are the polygraph test? Where do people fail and what are some of the most difficult questions they ask?
Also where was your first assignment?

he didn't want to answer so he rephrased the question to one he was comfortable with. Typical coward with a badge.

First of all you just said someone threw a rock at the cops and still called it "peaceful", so there's that.

I have been a a part of some pipeline protests and I assure you we gave way more leeway than we should have.

I think he's actually butthurt lol

The search warrant could easily cover both addresses in it's drafting.

no, if you look like a gangbanger, you will be investigated. anyone of any skin colour that dresses as a normal, clean, working person probably will not get hassled. the youth don't seem to understand this concept. I have a new group of temps at my workplace right now, for instance. Toronto blacks. fine, except their pants are hanging entirely down. full moon on the underwear. gonna fire idiots like that. Too stupid to dress appropriately.

90% of cops are fucking garbage. Literally the worst parts of humanity and some how they got power and now they are itching to use it. We need a major overhaul in this country and purge the scum from our lives.

I do feel bad for that 10% out there that grouped in with human waste though.

why do so many betas with a mean streak go into law enforcement? Is it to get back at the world for being a shit tier human?

Pretty indepth, mine was short 3 hours. But I have a colleague who was raised in Pakistan and his was 7 hours. I found the most difficult questions about the stressors, like the pedophilia or sex questions. You clearly tell the truth but the examiner feigns a result and says you're lying. He's attempting to see how you react under pressure. It was an interesting experience but I really didn't find it that difficult.

I've spent all of my service in the Lower Mainland, BC in larger detachments. I did a relief position for a short period at a "limited duration posting" before returning back to the Vancouver area.

Cool story bro.

If I don't like the way you look I will waste your time. Shouldn't you be doing actual police work instead of acting like a tough guy with teenagers?

I remember that thread, OP, and I came away with a very positive impression of you and your ethics/mindset.

Glad you came back.

Says the criminal.

Not OP but those are ceremonial uniforms, like the one the US Marines wear on graduation. The uniforms RCMP wear on duty are just like police uniforms.

Never been charged with anything but good try officer racist.

I've been a criminal defense attorney for 13 years. I've never seen corrupt police practices. Errors, of course. Everyone makes errors.

Thanks to criminals I have made a nice living.

Thanks to the police for catching them so I can represent them.

>what is illegal about 5 teenages walking down the street?

You were probably drunk as shitbags and puking all over each other and asking random white people to go into Shoppers and buy you some fucking Listerine.

We're seeing this a lot now, a lot of new recruits refusing to comply with the uniform standards. It's pretty unreal considering they signed up to wear a uniform.

Not OP, so you're arguing with a different guy. For clarification.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Apparently some people today don't have that same view though lol.

You're doing gods work sir. Get us back on the street.

I am not OP. I've been raided for dope at gunpoint and gone to jail. Cleaned up my act now, not in the game anymore. just saying, don't dress like a street thug if you aren't one.

Lol not even close.

Thanks for that, most people forget that. Our uniforms now actually look fairly "military". We actually have molle on our vests and a lot of us are carrying the Patrol Carbine now (Colt C8 modified).

Appreciate the good words, thanks. I am actually good friends with one of our local defense counsels.

LOL I didn't say it, you did. But from my experience cops usually just don't go around messing with people for no reason FYI. Usually something stands out.

Any luck finding out who killed Angel Carlick?

You realize people have given their lives for my right to dress how I want right? When you allow the police to stop you for you skin color or the way you look to talk (talking obviously within reason) you're spitting in the face of every soldier in the world who died for freedom.

I've done criminal law. Caught police lying on the stand more than once. You must be a shit attorney if you can't even sniff out a lying officer.

Sorry. It was my best guess based on my time in Calgary living with a native flatmate.

Yeah like their skin color.

why do you not care about mail order marijuana businesses at all since 2004?

It's not my job to "get you back on the street." It's my job to ensure your rights are respected by the government. Im your safeguard to make sure the prosecutor and court play by the rules.

IF there is a way to exonerate you (violation of search and seizure, etc) of course I have a legal obligation to hold the government accountable for the violation. In turn they might lose the case -- you might be off on all charges. Win for us.

But the most common misconception is that a criminal does a crime and their attorney "gets them off the hook." Not true.

Why are you folks such fags? I mean, I bet that you cunts will get IP logs from Cred Forums and come fuck my shit up just for calling you fags.

Any examples? A friend of mine just went through a interview with Toronto police and what almost him lose it was when they asked him of what kind of porn he watches and what porn sites he uses.
Also what is the likelyhood of someone without a uni degree getting in?

So, how fucked is Baccon for that Surrey 6 murder spree? Is that gang broke up or still strong?

I live in Toronto so I don't see many RCMP officers since we have the TPS and OPP. But you guys are doing great work and you have my respect. My sympathies to you fellow officers who were recently gunned down.

OP here

A lot of RCMP Officers ARE ex and current military FYI.

I'm not posted in the North, I actually had to look up the case, never heard of it. Understand I DO NOT work in federal policing services. I work in general policing within a community. Basically like a city or state cop, but I can move around a lot more.

Technically Trafficking is still a crime, and typically it's the post service that contacts us about it or CBSA who contacts us more than anything.

Yeah I have criminal lawyer buddies and they hate having to explain this to people. "How can you live with yourself devoting your life to advancing the interests of criminals??"

FFS. It's about protecting the rest of us from state power you miserable shitfucks.

Yeah how knowledgeable are police here in Canada on DNM shit?

Do they bust down people's door for a little hash, some lsd etc?

Lower Mainland was giving HA a pretty hard time a few years ago. Have they bounced back, still dominant in the drug trade?

imagine i'm young and ambitious again. how do i mounty?

OP here.
That's a good point. Like I said a lot of my friends are lawyers and they don't try to get people "off", they have a specific job even if they don't like it. My friend has gotten people plea bargains that he disagreed with before and felt shitty about it, but it's his job.

That's common as well. The reality is that if you're watching some kinds of porn they may see it as a red flag for some other behaviour, whether thats accurate or not.

A Uni degree is not mandatory but everything helps. You're seeing more and more recruits with Bachelor's now (My troop the majority had a 4 year degree) but I'd say an Associate's combined with the appropriate experience can be just as valuable.

He's fucked. I have a lot of details about the case I can't discuss but think about it. He's the only person still not gone to trial and everyone else has gone away and he's in trial on his own. Connect the dots and you'll see he's screwed. Review some of the JOHNSTON and HAEVISCHER decision and expect a lot of the same evidence to appear in his trial.

The RS does not have anywhere near the strength it did. After the breakdown a lot of portions of the IS, RS and some HA formed another group: Wolfpack, that is having a lot of expansion in the Kelowna area right now.

Appreciate that, thank you.

Some communities they will always have a strong hold where they do not get much competition, like Maple Ridge, Mission, Chilliwack, etc.

They're doing fine, but civil forfeiture adversely affected them for a number of years.

Why would you come on Cred Forums to ask these pieces of shits to answer some questions XD

They are all Faggots who think they are better than you.

Yes, I feel shitty now and then. Unfortunately, attorneys have to represent their clients to the best of their abilities or we can get in trouble for not doing so.

In my experience in criminal court, the police do a great job. For how dynamic their job is, how quickly they need to make decisions they almost always make the most reasonable decision.

Ontariofag now but used to live in BC. Was doing door to door sales once and I walked into the lobby of a building near Broadway and Main with a cardboard box large enough to hold a bazooka. Thought they were going to shoot me down. Some kind of secure police building. Gangs and Mafia investigations or something like that. What's up with that?

scared the shit out of me, alarmed the security personnel certainly. I think the whole lobby was made of bullet proof glass.

Sometimes I get genuine questions and then sometimes I get to laugh to myself at people asking me to help them commit crime or thinking about some people typing with their dorito fingers thinking they got the better of me.

A lot of the decision making comes second nature. The reality is that we do a lot of stuff because it's "common sense" and we know that it's just what we should do. Then once things have calmed down and we have time to look at everything we start to think back about what happened in order.

That's Vancouver, they have their own city department. No idea to be honest.

Why are city cops such cunts? Every time i've dealt with a city cop, they will try to fine you as much as they can. Rcmp officers tend to use more judgement when it comes to fines and other small infractions of the law

Is it a funding thing or what?

Do you do the musical ride? Also I'm a opp

I totally agree with this. I would always rather deal with RCMP or OPP than city cops. Small forces are full of redneck dicks.

You're a scum bag and bad at your job

Why are you so fucking useless in British Columbia?
I had a traffic light out for 45 minutes, and called the RMCP twice in POCO and they told me TWICE that it wasn't their job to direct traffic.
How does horse cock taste?

Not everyone in the service deserves respect. Just like 90% of cops but they died for an ideology that's the point.

Hey OP, excited to see this. I started quite a few successful lines in burnaby/new west/east van area in 2008-2013. Since 14 years old I tried to be the best criminal I could possibly be, trying to establish a brand of eastern european organized crime in the city. I stopped selling drugs and moved on to fraud 2013-2015 (different types of bank fraud, cheque kiting, account take overs, was working with the first team to have counterfeit plastic 100s in 2013) due to reward/punishment ratio. Ended up with heavy drug addiction issues, I'm 10 months clean now, working legitimate jobs. Anyway what city are you working?
> What kind of record keeping do you guys do when I would have an interaction with the police but not chraged for anything. Do you write notes of every incident for all other officers to see in the future? Is it accesable to anyone other than other officers in your department. I've been pulled over with machetes and mace and have them taken away, cuffed 10s of times in violent incidents but let go without charges, cuffed in suspicious curcumstances etc.
> How long do you keep these notes for? I havent had any police interaction in 10 months now, however i'm worried say if you run my plates, does all of that shit come up right away? I am trying to move on with my life, but i've had 10+ police interactions a year for many years now. How fucked am I?
Anyway I've got tons more questions so waiting on your reply, havent posted here in years.

This.
I've gotten $200 fines for little things like my blinker burning out from city cops. In a similar situation i had an RCMP officer pull me over and suggest i get my light fixed as soon as possible

i dropped out of college with poor grades, but otherwise have solid experience and work references. what happens if i apply withholding any mention of college on the application?

hhmmm well yeah. but there's no cure for stupid. or is there? blacks in the states are finding out that answer.

So you can't drink at all?

Remember that city cops are employed by the city, not the federal government like me. There are some departments that put a lot more focus on traffic than we do because they have less calls for service and they need to continue to justify their staffing numbers. My experience with a lot of RCMP detachments is we just don't have much time for traffic. Our policing style is substantially different than city departments in that RCMP officer's are also the general investigators so we investigate all of our own files whereas a lot of city cops pass off a lot of their stuff after the first day.

No I do not lol. Best gig in the force though.

Because cops in PoCo don't have time for that. They'll contact the City or Fire Department to come out and take care of the problem but a General Duty officer will not get dispatched to that intersection to direct traffic, too much stuff going on.

Comment est ton Français, écrire et parler?

What is your opinion on the now defunct Community Safety Officer program?

First off, good job getting clean. Just recognize your success will be determined by the company you keep and recognizing now that you WILL relapse at some point and it will not be the end of the world.

All of your interactions with the police are recorded on our databases, even if you were never charged. If the police seized something from you like a weapon or drugs there will be a report that can be read by any officer in BC who runs your name. Those records exist forever and will be accessible forever as well. Those results DO NOT show on a criminal record check however if you apply for a job that requires a "vulnerable sector check" the RCMP can stated you do not meet the requirements based on those interactions as they still did happen.

When it comes to your plates, very likely since you were involved in the drug trade, plates associated to you will come back with that information as soon as an officer runs your plate. What this means is that even if you're out of the game now, you will continue to get pulled over for a while man, even if you're not doing anything wrong. Just accept it and don't let it affect your life now. Just be honest about trying to change things and the officer may write a "street check" explaining the interaction with you as polite and that you're employed now etc.

Unless someone is an absolute shitrat I do not like giving out tickets. There are some guys on my watch who have written like 3 tickets all year so far, and it's almost October.

You are required to put down your college on your application, even if you're not happy about it. Same as if you got fired from a job ever, you have to put it down. Their background is pretty intense so THEY will find out about it.
No we can drink lol. I drink pretty often on my day's off.

Try to understand service priority you mindless tool. Better to call the city so they send out a crew to fix the light then to have a cop tied up for hours directing traffic. When a traffic light at an intersection isn't working, motorists are supposed to use common sense and treat the intersection as a 4 way stop.

Je ne parlais Francais. Just very basic high school French, so I will never be the Commissioner unfortunately.

I liked it a lot, a lot of the old CSO's have joined the Regular Member ranks now FYI.

But also BC has brought back the Community Constable program. So essentially it's very similar to the old CSO program but they had to go to Depot for 6 months and learn the same program, but they will basically be the Community Office Constable's doing a lot of the same roles, but this time with full police powers.

You know as a criminal I've always treated officers with respect because I knew I was the scumbag profiting off the weak, stealing from businesses and banks, creating violence etc. and you were simply maintaining order in society. It was my choice to be a criminal because I was greedy, wanted "respect" and quick, exciting life however I was fully aware of all the harm I was causing to those around me and didn't find it unfair when I'd get checked by the cops or sent to jail. Most criminals don't accept that kind of responsibility and just blame the cops. I found my way always made the police encounters go by smoother. You even let me have a couple of cigarettes in handcuffs in a hotel room when we both knew I was about to go to jail for a decent ammount of time. I appreciate you not treating me like the scumbag that I was.
You know it always amazed me how polite officers in BC are. Especially Burnaby RCMP, almost always kept a cool head and acted professionally when faced with some fucked up situation. I was kidnapped, extorted, robbed and tortured, you guys investigated the fuck out of that, ammount of effort that was put into the case was amazing (despite it all falling through in court). I don't know why I'm writing this but now that i'm on the other side of the law I'd like to say a thank you.

Essentially this. All calls for service are based on priority. Assuming their wasnt a ton of accidents happening at the intersection this would be a low priority call/non attendance.

Wow, even the criminals in Canada are nice.

So true.
If the aboriginal people stopped looking at all the past issues they had and looked at their band leaders and THEIR corruption, I am sure they would get a better understanding at where a lot of their problems are still unaddressed. When you have tribal leaders and chiefs living in million dollar homes and the band is struggling with so many problems, you have to know there is more going on than what meets the eye.

wrong country, bro
he said Canadian police

Thank you, I don't associate with any criminals or drug users anymore, far too much risk considering my past.
> I will be able to get a pardon for an indictable offense in 7 years, after that with a criminal background check it shouldnt show up. However "vulnerable sector check" still will? Ammount of time doesn't matter?
> What kind of approximate time frames are we talking about here? 2-4 years?
> How freely do you guys share information between burnaby/vpd? I'm really curious what type of records you keep on each person besides the "found with possesion of ..." when you search someone by name. Associations etc?
> Any way way to remove my name from CSO BC databse?
> My buddy is in jail for second degree murder, he's been in there for 1.5 years and is going to be pleading guilty to some sort of a deal. Isn't there a mandatory minnimum, that cannot be bypassed? He thinks with time server he'll be able to get out in 2 years. Possible?
> Person that tortured, kidnapped me etc. is getting out this december. Almost certain this will end badly because i ended up snitching on him, he has no plans to change the life. If it so happens that i assault/stab him in self-defence is it going to be a factor if i end up getting prosecuted (that i was a victim before etc)

Ask a Canadian military engineer anything

Whats your honest opinion on the train hopping youth that's so prevalent in your country and the US. What do you do when and/or if you encounter them.

keep up the good work, and keep making our country an awesome fucking place, Mountiebro!
much love to you and yours

What's the most horrible, fucked up scene you've attended on the job? Do these things haunt your dreams?

I think a lot of the community does realize this, its just the hands are tied between two evils when it typically comes to selecting chiefs.

Yes and no, any job that requires security clearance, PARDONS will still show up, doesn't matter about time frame.

Information sharing is pretty streamlined, we use the same databases, i'm able to read all reports and info on someone from VPD, Burnaby RCMP, New West, etc.

Remove from CSO? not as far as I know, unless you successfully got a publication ban, but that's all I can think of.
Your "friend" is not eligibile for parole before 10 years for Second Degree in Canada, that is something judge's do not have discretion on. They can increase that too based on the facts of the case. Your friend will likely still be serving atleast 7 years (that's even if he got double time credit for remand) before even being ELIGIBLE for parole. Which is not guaranteed.

You have to think if he comes after you, obviously contact the police. but if he came after you and he got hurt, do you really think he's going to cooperate with a police investigation?
Stetson is our term.

It's a big country. Just pick up and move to another province. Seriously, move and start over where no one knows your past. And you won't be in that local police records system.

I lurked before I joined up a long time ago, and kind of stopped for obvious reasons. I kind of got back to browsing maybe six months ago.

Thanks man, appreciate it!

A few stand out particularly. Just brief point form:
-Three Vehicle MVI with a dead 5 year old on scene. Two other fatalities as well.
-Assisting Ministry of Children and Family in removing two kids from their birth mom after MCFD investigated allegations of abuse and neglect. The kids were roughly 50% of what their weight should have been for their age. And mom's new boyfriend fought us when we entered the house. He also had an Alberta Warrant for Sexual Interference (which mom claimed she knew and didn't care as he convinced he the victim was a "lying bitch". The 7 year old had never been in school and the 5 year old was still in cloth diapers.
-Call for a mentally disturbed male, we went inside the family home and he dropped his pants in front of us and tried cutting in to his sack to take out one of his testicles. We tazered him and were able to get him to the hospital but he lost a lot of blood.

>Stetson is our term.

Yeah, but Stetson is also used to refer to "cowboy hats" and Stetson is also, most frequently, used to refer to campaign hats with the crease at the sides rather than the front (US Park Rangers, Buffalo Soldiers, US Border Patrol, etc).
Just trying to be accurate -- "smokey bear hats" is not respectful to an RCMP officer imo, as it's American AND the crease is not in the front, but on the sides.

inb4 i'm autistic, i'm not, i'm just accurate lol

Anyway - thanks for doing what you do, OP.

OMFG

What do you do to become Regular? I have tried everything -- psillium, potatoes, castor oil -- nothing seems to work.

O my God a Canadian cop of course this thread is great.

Mantiens le gauche.

Where was your shittiest posting? I heard most cops had to do a northern native reserve at least once. Figured that would be the shittiest.

I was going to suggest this. If you're really that concerns about retribution then you should get out of his area.
That's more detailed than I was caring to be lol.
I think the one of the red jacket was the exact face I mad when I saw him try to cut his nuts off.

"Hey pig, you ever had your shit pushed in? Your shit pushed in. Simple question."

Nothing OP I'm not trolling I've just been talked with a handful of transients who have rode all over and they usually say if they got caught they'd have a 50-50 shot of not getting arrested and the girls almost never get arrested but hold the guys pack until he's out.

>How come so little crime gets reported? I understand no news stories (didn't get called in etc), but i've been present at three shootings (no victims but vehicles damaged etc), stabbings in public during daytime, friends getting busted etc etc. Is it to not scare the public? On the vpd/rcmp websites some stories are reported but very few that i've seen with my own eyes are.
> Do you actually pay out money for tips to people whos tips end up getting people convicted. On that report a crime website, how closely do you look into what's anonymously sent to you? Like there's a person kidnapped, body/hidden at a blahblah address, I don't imagine that's enough to get a warrant, but will you dedicate resources to watching the place?
> How do you monitor drug lines once you know the phone number. Is there a big database? Ask cell providers for warrants?

How does it make you feel that I get hard as diamonds when people shoot cops?

>inb4 edgelord

I want to join the RCMP, is there any courses I should get in to?

>Bedgeford

I was lucky, I grew up in the Vancouver area and got posted right back home to a larger detachment. I took an opportunity a little while back though to go help out for a while at a reserve/limited duration posting when they were short staffed/crisis and it was a good experience.

I can honestly say I have never dealt with a train hopper, but i deal with homeless on a daily basis. Holding on to someones possessions is pretty common though across the board.
It's kind of two fold, you don't want tell the public about things they don't need to know. We don't like creating panic. But it often comes down to "hold back" evidence. We don't let our cards on the table during an active investigation as it doesn't really do anything for us.

Crime Stoppers pays out tips yes. We also will on occasion pay informants or agents based on the value of the information they can provide to the police. But that is rare. For example, the informant in the Surrey 6 investigation was reportedly paid around 1.5 million for all of the work he did.

I can't really get in to details about that man, hope you understand but you don't really know who's monitoring this thread.

I was pulled over at Craven Jamboree for a BAC of .08 and an hour later with a reading of .07 and I was given a fine but did community service instead. What are my chances of making it into the RCMP with a record like that?

This guy is full of shit.. His holier than thou attitude shows he's noob level if he's not just baiting.

The RCMP are the move over rated group of thugs in Canada. It' is high time they were disbanded as they themselves all feel they are above the law.

They also have no problem lying in court.. Cough... Dziekański ... they have no probling LYING to set people up... cough .. Milgaard...

and some other light reading...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_controversies_involving_the_Royal_Canadian_Mounted_Police

The RCMP are shit tier as a police force, but you go ahead and keep thinking you are awesome.

"That Deserved"... meaning summary punishment without due process.

Can't wait till you eat your service weapon... that'll be deserved...

I studied Criminology, as a lot do. But that's by no means necessary. I would argue you should study something else in case policing does not work out, as a lot of people never get in. Have a good career to fall back on in case it doesn't work.

Understand Impaireds are done by way of either your Provincial motor vehicle act or the Criminal Code. Since it seems like you got your DUI in Saskatchewan by the provicincial act and not the CC I don't know that much about it. I think it would be similar to getting an IRP here.

I'm not gonna say it's impossible as I know member's who had previous IRP's on their driving record before getting in. But they probably had close to a decade between the event and when the applied.

States noob level, provides Wikipedia link lol.

I know not everyone likes us man, but I assure you i'm not full of shit.

go home harritic

"Should have"... meaning again.. another wanna be school yard bully who uses his "job" to elevate himself over the public he is supposed to serve.

You are the reason people wont stop to piss on a cop that is on fire.... you're just too stupid to know it.

Good to know about the driving record. Thanks

Some guy that I can clearly see just beat the shit out of his wife or assaulted his kid? Yeah he deserves something.

This thread was so enjoyable when you left. Thanks for returning to us.

I have no criminal record, I have the hardest to get firearms license available in Canada.. I own my home, a business and have raised several well to do children. Cops are 90% liars and any attorney who doesn't see it is far too incompetent to hire.

Cops rarely have any friends, they simply can't be trusted.. and even the whole, "buddy cop" routine.. the other cop.. he doesn't actually trust you either.

So many cops quit, or kill themselves after they have ruined their wives lives, it's a profession for people who should not procreate.

I for one do not call a cop for, "help". That is a laughable solution. Not everyone who doesn't trust cops is a criminal, it's that mentality that makes the public even less trusting on these clowns.

kill your self abo, i feel for my canadian mates. finish the job jobs

Are you in HVGB you faggot?

Whats the overall consensus on the firearm laws in canada amongst the RCMP?

Are they good?
Do they work from the RCMP point of view?
If the RCMP got to change the laws, how would they change them?

ANYONE, can be accused. ANYONE can be arrested. Just because you need a criminal lawyer, doesn't mean you are a criminal.

I have one corporate lawyer, one litigation lawyer, and if needed access to a criminal lawyer. This doesn't mean I go looking for trouble, but I certainly don't cower when the police bother me.

If you have money, you are hassled a lot less by cops. A LOT LESS. They tend to prey on the people who can't or wont fight back.

Not to mention.. you don't actually have to answer their stupid questions.

I appreciate that cops have a hard job to do. It's a hard life foe the people who accept the money and "power" that goes with being a cop.

However, when they are confronted with a person who actually knows their rights and is able to invoke them without being an ass.. cops back down pretty fast.

god i hate you people, your the reason Canada is shitty your the only reason

fuck you cunt

Thanks man, appreciate the advice

Why are you guys so poorly trained and equipped for extreme circumstances?

A lot of people think they know their rights when they don't man, I'll just state that to you. Also, people don't get arrested just for walking down the street. So I'd check you hard on that. I dont know what happened to you in your life that made you so angry at us but my experience is that the majority of people don't share your sentiment.

Oh wait im thinking of our military nvm.

SENDING Vyvanse® (lisdexamfetamine dimesylate) to New york , legal or not?

Theyd ban just about everything, individual cops may not follow it but the bureaucrats in charge will

What are the knee pads for, dick sucking or protection from the guys he owes gambling debts to?

Accurate statement if i've heard one before....

I own a couple firearms myself. Our laws are pretty good, you won't see many complaints from me personally. I think we do a pretty good job that way, but the reality is that firearms smuggling is a very real thing in BC to get guns over the border. It's not that hard. Our storage laws are a bit much at time but I get the reasons why.

If things get worse im just mass producing grease guns and stens and literally flooding the streets with them

Ever fired your service weapon at anyone?

Try kneeling in gravel or on sticks/trees really hard while shooting and focusing on other things, i have elbow pads too cause without them shooting prone sucks. Just want to be semi comfortable when im being shot at

I have not, it's been out plenty of times. I've had to euthanize an animal before that got really hurt after getting hit by a truck though. Felt bad.

Don't feed the troll man. He's just trying to get a rise. This is the highlight of his week that he's being paid attention to.

Fo you have any complaints about the classification system? I agree with the licensing and registration but the the mag limits and classification system is the biggest issue, could you agree? Cause 5rds or 30rds it shouldn't matter if i have a license it shouldn't be restricted, and a SVD isnt an ak variant, and the FAL is the right arm of the free world i sbould be able to own one, at least an L1A1

just bustin' yer balls, man.

knife carry laws in canada, whats the likelihood of getting my pocket knife ( folding non assisted) seized and will i get jail time for having it on me in public

I carry a ka bar daily and never have problems

Tell us about the most disgusting homeless you've had to touch.

I once saw a bum piss into a garbage bin outside the McDonalds on Granville St. Soon after another super old grotty bum came along and fished in the can for treats. Thought he found a partial cup of soda pop and drank that urine down without a blink. I don't think he knew what he was consuming.

ZT 562CF here, me nether just dont want to take a loss on it if i pocket it

Yes and no, I know a lot of non cop friends that share your sentiment regarding the magazine sizes (which lets be honest it's not that hard to alter it anyways). I am allowed to have prohibited magazines of my own for training purposes so it doesn't affect me as much. But I get your complaint. The recent decision on 10/22 was kind of a head shaker for me to I admit.

I carry a folding non assisted blade in my right pocket every day. As long as your length doesn't equal a fixed length of 6 inches and its non assisted you're fine. I've never had any issues.

Arrested a homeless guy in Lower Mainland for Indecent act and Causing a Distrubance (pissing in the middle of the sidewalk and was wasted). Brought him back to cells and made him take his socks off in and out (to show me he had nothing in them like drugs, etc) and no joke literally 3 or 4 layers of skin came off with the sock. I just released him to the ambulance when they came to get him. Hospital was a better place for him that night.
