Here's the thing. You'll hear a lot of bullshit from both sides. The truth is urologists can't really find any purely healthy reason to do it or not.

So, it really boils down to a couple of things.

1 - A circumcision could potentially be botched. The odds are ridiculously low, but present.

2 - Even if there are issues that develop later in life with the foreskin, a circumcision is still an option. If you cut it off at birth any complications as a result of that requires plastic surgery which is considerably more expensive and difficult.

3 - The child doesn't have a say in the matter because he's too young. Ultimately, you're taking away his decision on what to do with his body.

I think you have to logically side on not circumcising from those three points of view despite the fact that there really is nothing medically wrong with doing it.
