Is anyone else getting bored these days? I'm bored of playing video games. TV doesn't keep me interested anymore. I can't be arsed to pick up a book and read through it all. I've already fapped so I don't feel any desire to watch porn. I tried meditating but that only works for half an hour to an hour before I stop. I want something more to do at home. I don't want to spend money to go out to bars, travel, hunt, etc. At the end of the day I come back home and I just get bored all over again.

It's called being depressed

D e p p r e s I o n love. Don't think about it too much or you will become suicidal. Do things you've never done

Find some passion. Learn an instrument, write some rap or some poetry, find a new album to listen to. If you just want to waste the time away then find a gf.

I'm not an artsy person at all. Believe me.

try cytube

you could also exercise? I do a good hour every other day. Lift, do some cardio even though I hate it.

Yeah I go out for a bike ride or walk every day, still bored at home.

Ok, well.. you could log onto the internet and talk to strangers on image boards?

Fine then read some of mine

>Great Phoebus brings such warmth and cheer, though
>none shall find it among the tombstones
>where underneath the earth lie rotting
>the dreams - the hopes - the love of those who dared
>but knew not of their consequences

>There are those who live without a second thought
>Who float and fly without obstacle
>the subjects of both pity and envy they live
>wherefore we may never visit
>when ashes turn to ashes and dust turns to dust
>I doubt we shall regret our pensive curse

Slightly kidding, just giving you a hard time.

Uhhh... what else?

hhmmm

Yoga? Learn how to cook better? I enjoy cooking.

Maybe become a game streamer?

Drugs help for the short term.

And this is when drugs come into play

No thanks...

I'm 23 and feel the same way Cred Forumsro. Even me and my girl are at that point. For example... I took her out, It was a Friday night. I even wore cologne to get the feeling right
We started making out and she took off my pants but then I turned on the TV and that's about the time she walked away from me
Nobody likes you when you're 23

you didn't mention sport. Try Mma(girls attend the novice classes so atleast you won't be swamped with too many males) .

The endorphins your produces after a workout is fucking great, plus you learn things that look simple but are so difficult to master.

Don't waste your life/days on computer, previous generations weren't as fucked /depressed as this, and yet we have such huge access to information it's too overwhelming since we visit the same 2/3 websites every day.

Just realize nobody will save you, except yourself. Don't be inspired from movie scenes

thats depression friend

Why would you turn the goddamn TV on at sexy time?

You sound like me 4 months ago.

I started going to the gym but rather than doing normal workouts I started doing some of the classes. It's great, you get your workout plus those incredible endorphins and you meet loads of great new people.

Changed my life.

Get drunk or high (better yet, both) and watch netflix or trying playing games again. Literally the only time I can sit on my ass at home and NOT be bored is when I'm drinking and smoking.

Otherwise, I have to be out doing something. Fishing, kayaking, hiking, even walking while listening to music on your phone will kill boredom. Take a random stroll through the woods with your favorite playlist on, it's actually really relaxing and it's something to do other than sitting.

Get some old scrap wood and build some shit, or see if anything needs fixing around your house or apartment when you have spare time. Start and maintain a garden (depending on where you live, obviously as there will be snow soon in a lot of places).

Experiment with cooking, something. There's a lot you can do on a little-to-no budget to keep you occupied.

Shit, the other day I was out of work and back at the shop and suggested to my boss that we should build a privacy fence between where he stores all the trucks and trailers and the duplex he rents out. He treated it like the fucking greatest idea he's heard of, so I got to build a fence and get paid for doing it. I've never even built a fence before, but he told me what to do and helped get me started and I figured it out from there. Kept me busy and I actually kind of enjoyed doing it.

You're bored because you don't do anything. From the sounds of it, it's partly because you're low on funds. There's always a way to make money, which also keeps you occupied. You can't be bored when you're out working and thinking about what you're doing, and also the added benefit of more money in your pocket.

Mow some lawns, offer to help out neighbors or family/friends.

I always hated it as a kid, because it involved me slaving away in the lawn or stacking wood, but my dad always told me "a busy man is never a bored man." Which, I've grown to realize, is 100% true. It also makes you appreciate that couch and tv a lot more when you're done

You sound like me for the past 14 years. Fix it or you'll end up 30, alone and have no reason to go on with the meaningless cherade.

I've gotten into playing RPGs online with a group I met. Helps when a large chunk of my free time is broken up by several 4-8 hour sessions.

don't you have a job?
