Serious question, does anyone here have a problem with battery watches and less often windup watches just dying or misstiming on them. Everytime for me and i just dont feel like investing if i cant have. But there pretty and nice. What to do?

I move a lot, maybe it is that i rattle the insides of the watches. But tried two pocket watches too, one cheap, one my grandpa had that was a windup. Same story. Is there anything that would stand being strapped to a jackhammer operators arm in a electric storm? I feel this might be what i need.

It's sleek and not an arm-weight, good contrast and matches well with blue and grey shades, has a classic look, and keeps great time. Say what you will, but it's a great watch. Two years and counting.

I estimate that the amount of money I have spent building my collection is a notch more than half a million dollars, probably reaching the $550,000 mark.

Now, since some pieces are impossible to find now and were made 40, 50 years ago and are in perfect conditionm or belong to a modern very small limited edition, (1/7, 1/24, 1/50, etc) the net worth of my collection should be in the 800,000 USD give or take.
