Black with about 1.5 tbs sugar. Very delicious. Just enough sugar to enhance the coffee taste with out dimming it with cream. Reccoment tea the same way.

Oh, yeah, the grounds-to-water ratio. You figure it out. I used to weigh my beans, then I noticed it was equal to five tablespoons of grounds for the size French press I have.
Water at 204F -- no boiling.
Pour water over grounds. Use a wooden spoon to stir. Let it steep for four minutes. Use a timer. Then slowly depress the filter. YOU HAVE MADE COFFEE.
