If you bought the 5 year warranty (this doesn't come with purchase it has to be bought separately) and Apple are being cucks about it, bring it to best buy or a similar tech store with a support team. They can look up your warranty by serial number and they'll either replace it or fix the battery (if possible).

Easy fix. Unscrew the bottom cover before it warps the aluminum, it will probably have pulled at least one screw through the metal.

Remove the battery

It will probably allow the trackpad to fall back into place, then again if it didn't it's still an easy fix. This is a common problem with that model.

Either way; if it's a safety issue, we would act differently. Use the phrases "Exploded", "cut", "heat", etc.

tl;dr you probably have to pay for it, because you're probably out of warranty, both default and extended. If you're adamant you have a 5 year warranty that you paid for, it might be through the purchasing company (e.g. Best Buy, Fryes, whatever).
