'Iconic' movies you've never actually watched, I'll start

i dl'd The Human Centipede about a year ago. still haven't watched it.

hey me neither! hope I'm not missing much.

...

You just go get right fucked

Take the time, I promise you will not be disappointed

I'm an adult, why should I watch this 80s crap

Fucking watch it. One of the best Disney films and soundtracks.

>I'm an adult
>80s crap
God damn im starting to feel old.

Broseph you need to watch it.
It's magical

Pic nr

...

Citizen Kane

The Grifter. Video store never had any in stock and can't find any legit downloads of this cult classic either.

I never watched the Lion King at an old enough age to actually comprehend anything, I have no clue what the plot is. The Lord of the Rings series was too boring to watch, I kept falling asleep. Some goes for Star Wars. Never watched The Godfather, Jaws, Psycho, or Rocky at all.

Im sure youll be ok.

An adventure with friends. What everyone wirmshes they could have.

Plus, it's the 80s. Literally the best time for movies. Even a young adult like me knows that.

Damn good movie, but fuck me it's long

Ghostbusters

As in the good one.

Good. Stay away.

That's actually the only reason I haven't watched it. Seems way to long, and I'm pretty sure how it ends.

>80s crap
>Lion King came out in 94

>80s crap
>talking about The Goonies
>came out in 85

>Not realizing he's talking about Goonies
>Heyyyyy youuuuu guyyyyyysss

OP again, just thought of another one

Goonies is a good movie. But if you're an edgy teenage faggot born in the 2000s like so many here are, then yeah, it's not for you.

>The Big Lebouski
>The Blaire Witch Project
>Space Jam
>Shindlers List
>1980s Ghostbusters
>Full Metal Jacket
>Saving Private Ryan
>Requiem for a Dream
>Citizen Kane
>Any of the Godfather movies

Which is weird, because I consider myself a movie connoisseur.

Sloth... Love... Chunk

God I love that deformed giant.

I'll adjust the game...

Here are some iconic movies, imo... Have you watched them all?

- ET
- Point Break
- Braveheart
- Karate Kid
- Matrix
- Princess Mononoke
- Spirited Away
- Alien
- Top Gun
- Back to the Future
- Edward Scissorhands
- Good Fellas
- Fight Club
- The Green Mile

>never watched Saving Private Ryan
kys

all cept for princess monononoke what is that?

Check'd

Wow, there are some real winers on that list. Get to work, user.

I haven't seen Citizen Kane either. Old classics just don't do it for me.

I don't know if Space Jam is "iconic"... Spaceballs maybe. But Full Metal Jacket and Saving Private Ryan are must see.

80's anime from ghibli studios.

Pretty much every 80's anime from ghibi was epic.

Close, 2001 haha.

But yes, ghibli movies are/were epic

Every single Star wars movie.

Haven't seen about half of those.

Just watch the original trilogy. The rest of them are shit.

How have you not seen this and lion king... Are you < 20yo?

I haven't seen that either. I had the opportunity to watch it in an art class once but I was busy working on art.

Wrong

70S were the best for movies faggot

...

Huh. My first trips and it's admiring how much of a movie-virgin I am.

Scarface

It's decent.

Fight Club, Trainspotting,Basketball diaries, Donnie Darko.
Never saw any of them.

I bet none of you have watched this:

I don't like horror movies, so I've missed out on a lot of stuff like The Thing, Alien, Saw, and even The Shining

>princess monononoke
Princess Mononoke is fucking beautiful. It's manga or anime or whatever that fucking japanese cartoon stuff is called. It's made by the same guys that did Spirited Away. Both are fucking great!

Wow, just wow. Trips Fairy is disappointed. Wow. Go watch all that... Except Donnie Darko, unless you're an emo fag.

I've never seen:

>Casablanca
>Gone With the Wind
>The Outsiders
>Pan's Labyrinth

And probably lots more that people consider iconic.

I do intend to watch them, but I've just not got around to it yet.

Braveheart.

Inspired by this thread, I will go watch it right now!

>Donnie Darko makes you an emo fag

Don't listen to that guy, it is a good watch.

I really wouldn't. I would say your life is better without it.

Pans Labyrinth is my favorite movie of all time. It's a must see.

I haven't seen any Godfather movie ever either. Every time someone makes a Godfather reference, I just smile and laugh and just pretend I know what they're talking about.

1 and 2 are a must see, and 3 is worth watching but not nearly as great as the first two.
