Shameless self bump

Final self bump :/

Appeal to reason by rise against

minecraft yogscast Christmas song parody screw the nether

How about you stop being stuck on mediocre 70s rock bands and a tually venture out. I like ac/dc when i was 13 but by the time i was 18 realized theyre generic as can be.

If you like harder stuff. Venture to metal. And not stupid five finger death punch. Thats shitty mainstream stuff. Try shit like plagues by the devil wears prada or messengers by august burns red. Incredible instrumentals and you dtart to enjoy the vocals

...

Same dude. I listened to AC/DC all the time when I was delivering newspapers at 14. Now whenever I hear them I just think "man, this is crap".
Power chords with a crap vocalist on top.

I guess in the 70s it was pretty cool. But if youre listening to them today, you hate your wife of 25 years. Still ride a harley to every bike night at the beer bar or youre someone who refuses to check other genres out

Check out Ty Segall

AC/DC is pure shit tier but i'm willing to help out OP

Decent stuff so far, thanks.

Can't tell if this is shitposting or serious

Paranoid - Black Sabbath. Tell me you can live without this for the rest of your life. Protip, you can't.

Nice choice

Witnessed

That's metal

Rival Sons

Metal is rock technically.

Yeahhh man

Compare Guns 'n Roses to Slayer.
They're different genres.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rock_genres
Still any kind of metal is a subgenre of rock. AC/DC is what you'd call hard rock.

Prog rock

Give it a shot

They were similar for like 10 years. Metal evolved while rock stayed the same.

Nope. Early Sabbath is a dark rock/jazz fusion kinda deal. They certainly are the basis of the metal movement, but didn't play metal until Dio era or so.

...

I'll try to stick to rockish kind of music then, might post some god-tier metal though.

Amazing album.

Brothers in Arms would be too obvious, so instead I give you this. Very good album.

...

>acdc
>godtier
>mfw

Another classic album.

ACDC sucks, Black Sabbath sucks, Metallica sucks, you all suck and your faggot bands suck

Fair Warning

and, yes,

1984

AIC Facelift

AIC Dirt

Michael Jackson - Thrilling

Very ACDClike band. You might like it, if you like ACDC.

They're not that bad, especially in the Scott era, but nowadays mostly play things that sound all the same.

spiderland is the best album mentioned yet twat

...

I love this album so much

If you like this kind of music.

ohhhh man that solo work on telegraph road

...

When it plays I can't do anything, got to sit down and listen to the whole damn thing. Also love private investigations from that album.

Some very good punk rock.

> mocks shitty mainstream stuff
> suggests the devil starts prada

Amazing music if you can stomach the lyrics (or you might like that kind of thing).

Op, try Iron Maiden's Powerslave album.

If you like ac/dc you pretty much like metal as is. Maiden isn't too extreme and I bet it would open your eyes

>Tenacious D but worse

Can't go wrong with Dylan. This one has some rocky feeling to it.

Not really. Their music is much better than TD.

...

Greatest live Album ever made:

The Allman Brothers Band- Live at Fillmore East

I know, meme guitarist. Still good album.

Are you sure it's not The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads? Or pic related?

Amazing guitarist, amazing music. You can feel different ideas in each song.

...

...

beat this
>protip: you can't

...

everything with AC/DC when Bon Scott was the singer

>Amazing guitarist

So true...but Passion and Warfare is much more complete and overall better album.

this

Foreigner - Complete Greatest Hits

I'll bite.

aka the "i'm 12 years old and trying to look cool"

thread

he y look LMAO

>Are you sure

oh ab-so-fucking-lutley...a 40 minute Whipping Post...the ethereal in Memory of Elizabeth Reed...simply the best live music ever played much less recorded.

white boy blues:

This, but Welcome to sky valley is better imo.

Also, "Rock formations" and "Nomadic Pursuits" by Yawning Man, two albums that have somehow withstood the sands of time and gotten better over the years. Especially Nomadic Pursuits becomes better and more mystical.

Possibly. I just love tender surrender.

nice song. I like YoYoGak :)

I've never heard of any of this shit and I'm 40.

>I like YoYoGak
It's very cute. :)

His live performances are amazing though. Especially with other instruments.

youtube.com/watch?v=3t4JxHiRmj0

That's probably because you're 40

Live in Leipzig by Mayhem

yngwie fucking malmsteen?
What is this, Edge Day?

If you never listened to it yet...

>yngwie fucking malmsteen?
>What is this, Edge Day?
I had this one coming posting Yngwie, didn't I?
Still, he's nice to listen to, even if he likes his appregios too much.

mothers finest
another mother further

the 1970's was the best decade for rock n roll.

Both use your illusions

A night at the opera-Queen.
Only for bohemian rhapsody tho

Since we've already entered metal territory this has to be posted.

Perfection

I miss him so much. He died much too young. :(

my personal fav

...

No pic but fnm king for a day

All of them are at least very good. Not many bands can achieve that.

Well, some might argue about Scream Bloody Gore. I think it's very good.

And someone called me edgy for posting Yngvie.

you're absolutely right Cred Forumsro, Death does not have a bad album. Scream Bloody Gore is great just not as technical, but its great old school death metal. I just love Human the most because of Steve Digiorgio on bass, he's the fuckin man

Greatest Rock band to never make it big...

I personally enjoy the direction they went with Sound of Perseverance which is more melodic and less brutal, but still feels like Death.

Also it has this beautiful little thing:
youtube.com/watch?v=j3OPOYG6XIQ

Dunkelheit is THE single best black metal song in existence.

Oh yes

I think Jesus Tod is better.

Agreed
