Hello, friends

Hello, friends.

What is the difference between League and Union?

>league
>noun
>a collection of people, countries, or groups that combine for mutual protection or cooperation.
>"the League of Nations"

>union
>noun
>the action of joining together or the fact of being joined together, especially in a political context.
>"he was opposed to closer political or economic union with Europe"

Lmao, why is Australia so based?

I was making the thread for the sake of conversation. I know how to google.

League is an ultra-simplified version of union, making it perfect for the poor, the unintelligent, the uneducated and Australians.

One is dumbed down for Abbos.

about $60,000 p.a. starting salary.

>PLEASE

>assblasted kiwi that is mad no one cares that the all blacks keep winning

League is a stop-start style of game but is ironically faster paced than Unions continuous style of play

Don't forget angry northerners

>the poor
>the uneducated

What countries/teams play each one

Does every country have a league for each

Do players switch between both or can play both at once

t. Melbourne

>Australia is literally the only country in the world that cares about league
>still manage to be only the second best country at it

One is a sport that only a single country knows how to play properly

The other is Rugby League

The rules

>based BSA

Basically, union players don't piss into their own mouths.

It's basically the difference between the CFL and NFL, one has no reason to exist and should be abolished/absorbed into the larger and more relevant code.

League is way more entertaining

I thought Aussies loved league.

I'm a Victorian so i don't give a shit about either, although I like watching the rugby cup for that classic anzac banter.

Well fuck there goes that joke.

Yep, I realised after answering you meant it to be
"banter"

>the poor
>the unintelligent
>the uneducated
>Australians
and useless fucking Canadians apparently.

Oh I like the way you put banter into speech marks; it made it even more condescending. Well played.

Union is just penalty after penalty

union is for private school pooftas

No, rugby players are just smart enough to take points when they are on offer.

During the NRL grand final last year the commentators were all gushing like crazy when one of the teams took a penalty goal talking about how they loved that decision because it would put them more than a converted try out in front, and how the Broncos had been successful all year taking points when they were on offer.

Rugby league has no tactical nous whatsoever.

I just can't into league. It's so predictable and bland. On nights where there's no union on I've started watching AFL rather than league
