I've worked and lived in the Bay Area for a long time and I never heard a peep about Kaep's charity work or social causes until this. I listen to sports radio every morning for a 75-90 minute commute, so eventually you hear about donations and foundations that players are involved in and happy to promote, or personal social causes. It's extremely hard for me to believe that the radio personalities just so happened to miss a long list of charitable deeds from Kaepernick over the years, leading me to believe that there is no such list and that his prior public image of "me, me, me" is accurate to real life.
