I bet you think Emmitt Smith is one of the greats because of his padded yardage totals.

Barry is pretty much 1A and 1B with Jim Brown. You can choose either as the GOAT and I wouldn't be mad.

Detroit does that to a man

>could've gone down as one of the greatest QBs to ever touch a football
>lol no ring bro

Gale Sayers is the goat
Jim brown
Walter Peyton
Barry

Gotta consider Walter Peyton too. He played with some really really bad offenses and carried them

>running backs
>mattering in the nfl

how many times has a RB been the best overall player on a SB winning team?

Those dolphins teams could have been so good if they had any semblance of defense

Lynch?

Yeah but he played with some amazing defenses. Sweetness is definitely a great one, you can put him as high as third.

Barry never really had shit. Can any of you name one of his teammates? All I can think of is Herman Moore.

Sherman

Can't be the greatest without a heart.

why didn't he just demand a trade or wait for his contract to be up?

he's too nice

Because the Lions wanted a return like the Vikings got for Herschel Walker from the Cowboys, and no team was ever going to get fleeced like that for a RB again.

Living in Detroit for more than a year gives you instant heart, my friend.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

you calling that one of the stupidest things you've ever heard is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard.

Y'all see Barry's A Football Life? Even Emmit admits that barry was is best

Barry stayed and raised his children in Detroit

And what really gets me pissed I s that no one talks about the Atrain. Dude even got his that ring everyone talks about

>le run 2 times for 10 yards lost man

Hanson

hmm Lynch, Franco Harris, emmit smith, Marshall Faulk, Jerome Bettis, Terrell Davis.

Take Davis off the list that team was stacked

which team though? the one that beat Farve or the one that beat the Falcons?

I always wondered if Barry Sanders was really in pain when he retired. He would have easily beat that record but no chance of a ring, mostly hardcore NFL fans knew how good he really was, few endorsements. Did he ever give a reason why he retired when he would have beat that record in less than 8 games? No matter. He's the GOAT as far as I'm concerned.

Defense was decent at best. But they had no kind of running game for what seemed like a few centuries.

72 and 73 Dolphins.

>Marshall Faulk
Greatest Show on Turf.

>Jerome Bettis
Nope.

>I'm a retard who doesn't know anything about football: the post

Once again you out yourself as a collosal retard.

>Bettis

Hines fucking Ward

>Harris
Mean Joe Green, Jack Lambert, every defensive player was more important you retard

>Emmit Smith
Michael Irving, Charles Haley

>Lynch
Every member of the Seattle secondary was vastly more important than Lynch

Rodney Peete (QB)
Chris Spielman (LB)
uhhh Jackie Chan (Special Teams)
