Hey guys

Hey guys

Is a handball in soccer when it touches your elbow down?

If so, why can't I just pop the ball in the air and place it in between my neck and shoulder and just walk into the goal?

Anyone that tries to take it away would surely get penalized.

Here, I made a diagram.

good thread
/SP btfo yet again

it's from the shoulder down

it's handball if it touches your upperarm as well, also the keeper is allowed to use his hands.

nice try, tho argentinia

HOW WILL MESSI EVER RECOVER???

After accessing the situation again, I have reformed my process.

You can even add two more players to either open side to "defend" better.

Surely this works, right guys?

>argentina
>soccer

it's really hard to balance a ball between two peoples backs not to mention get it up there without using your hands

why can't the goalie tuck the ball under his shirt and then run down the field?

>Amsterlazy

that's why we have training sessions daily

also, if you're that lazy you can just buy valbuena and place him underneath the ball

touching the ball with something other than his feet and legs outside of the penalty area. Illegal la

in there the goalkeeper could place the ball between two players

but you can't do it either way, clamping on to the ball is not allowed.

also, the ball between to backs would be easy to defend, literally just kick the ball clean out from inbetween

but the goalie is allowed to chest/head the ball outside the penalty area

Then obviously he should just keep the ball between his legs and get on the grass and literally roll toward the field while his mates guard him.

It like infantry covering for the tank

I mentioned in my post to add two more defenders on either side for more ball security.

Dont forget to add two defenders sentry around those guys for extra support

if the two players clamping the ball back-to-back were spinning, the opposing team could not kick the ball without a foul

good idea, I will start documenting this for a patent

Hey, remind Argentina to put the two defenders in there for protection

wew

Saved pic for future keks

This is my favorite thread

what is unsportsmanlike conduct
you'd get a yellow for sitting down and guarding the ball with your legs
same deal with your drawing
I think they invented it when a team formed a scrum like thing around the ball, so they included trapping the ball/guarding the ball with many bodies into the rules

You can charge the shoulder of any ball holder(s in this case) as hard as you like for as long as you like and no player can physically impede you from doing it.

Good luck holding the ball when 10 players charge you.

thats just unfun, why not have more playstyles explored and executed

can you create a birds nest with your hair and carry the ball in it ?

Notice how he gets wrecked every time. The same would happen.

I don't know shit about soccer so I have a question to ask

can defenders line up inside the goal, behind the goal line

that way they can move forward to make a play on the ball should it get to a part of the goal where the goaltender isn't

maybe they already do this idk

see

Yes they can and do it but they often won't because that isn't taking advantage of the offside trap

I'm pretty sure you can't just "lock" the ball as well, no matter the body part

In this video you can see some indirect free kicks where they try do what you describe. As you can also see, the goal is simply too big to cover for all players

You can try but you will end /heem/d by some angry defender.

Video very related (Kerlon Moura Souza)

Shoulder down
Also locking the ball in anyway for a prolonged period of time is prohibited

He got kicked in the face which is arguably worse than getting heem'd

kek

love it, but that would be obstruction

Why doesn't the GK just run the ball into the opponents goal? You could get some NFL RB and just pass him the ball and he barrels down the field

I only saw one where the defenders were actually inside the goal behind the goal line (2:54) and even then their forward foot was over the line

Basically the idea would be for the defenders in the goal to see the ball come off the foot and run forward to it with the advantage of the additional steps from behind the goal line

like Malcom Butler's interception in the Super Bowl

>strap the ball in place with a locket of hair

Why don't they just kick the ball high up with perfect accuracy to pass between players, making sure to kick it high enough that no defenders can reach it?

They invented rugby for these kinds of strategies

That's what Sevilla did against liverpool in the europa league final.

Obviously it is impossible to do that for 90 min but playing aerial balls is a good way to stop high-pressing teams like Liverpool or Spurs

I remember this threads

Can someone please post the graphics with the guy sticking the football in his helmet and running on all fours for a "low center of gravity"

in his facemask*

...

You have to dribble the ball within three steps, so that would be impossible, come again.

Hold the ball in between your legs and your teammates carry you over the field

...

I could just knee it out of there

they were explored 130 years ago, that's why those rules were created

...

please respond

is everyone really so new that no one has it saved?

that guys played like 70 games in his whole career apparently, whats going on here? Injuries?
