For example, if you gave Team A a rematch because they were didn't perform up to snuff or were supposed to dominate in Game 1, then why wouldn't you give a rematch to Team B for losing Game 2?

Logically you cannot defend not giving Team B a rematch was well, leading to Game 3 and subsequent endless rematches.
