I also visited New Orleans, my 2nd favorite city from that trip after SD.

At least if you're a Lions or Browns fans you know just to expect a garbage ass team every week.

Being a Saints fan these past few seasons has been so hard. I feel strongly that this team has the capability to be great. So many games have been so close / come down to 1 or two plays that if went the Saints way, would have been a W for them.

There's serious problems with injuries, and the defense is really as terrible as they seem, but the offense has had their struggles too from time to time.

Never forgot 2009 when the Chargers started of 2-3 and then went on an 11 game win streak and if it wasn't for Nate Kaeding choking his shit we would have faced Indy in the AFCC and we would have won because at the time we fucking dominated Peyton and the Colts we would have faced the Saints in what would have been the greatest Owl of all time.

But i've seen the Chargers creep into the playoffs with 8-8 record in 2008 I believe it was and in 2013 with 9-7. If we manage to win today a 2-2 is respectable enough to keep us in the wildcard hunt. Its better than 1-3.

Then we could just hope for a Giants/Ravens tier wildcard run to the Owl. Ya never know.

Honestly, I really don't want to see him go. I do think he is to blame for a lot of bad calls and missed opportunities, but it's the terrible recruiting from the front office that is most to blame. I don't know how involved Payton was in some of the awful roster moves they have made over the last few seasons, but something obviously needs to change.

I honestly just want Brees to retire a Saint. I'll take a few more mediocre seasons if it means that we get to see him retire here.
