Browns, Bills, Dolphins, and Jags, and countless other teams have been looking for a franchise QB for eternity

One of those 3 are not like the others.

>Garoppolo

lmao he's bitch made. He's the bait for the Browns/Dolphins/Jets/Whoever to trade thinking they'll get a franchise QB

Kessler is doing fine with the Browns, and he was picked up in the third.
I wouldn't be surprised to see them roll with him and not draft a qb in 2017.

>He thinks Prescott is a franchise qb

>lions get elite franchise QB
>no running game
>QB still has arm strength left to throw all day every day for seasons on end to make up for it
>go out of their way to suck so hard that they drag him down

Stafford is too good for this shit team

Stafford would have multiple rings if he was on a real team.

All those teams try to jump start their franchise with a HoF QB, when the odds of finding one are very small.

The successful teams try to build a good system, and develop talent from their drafts through coaching.

>Romo

Question is more why there aren't more than 4 competent QB in NFL

Dolphins have literally spent one 1st round pick on a QB since drafting Marino, Bills have spent 2 since drafting Kelly. Even the Browns have only ever drafted 6 QBs in the first round. Its not like they're spending a #1 overall every year.

btw Prescott is a meme-tier game manager on arguably the most talented offense in the league. Garappolo is unproven, memed on the shit tier squids secondary.

>smart teams are good
>dumb teams are bad

How does this happen Cred Forums?

OP just to take the browns, they passed on wentz and drafted manziel. that is why

They passed on Wentz because he was a huge risk and they had tons of other needs they had to address first.
Wentz would not be as good as he is now if he was with the browns.
And Manziel was drafted by a different HC/GM with a dumb rookie Owner.

>most talented offense

That's not Pittsburgh

this is a worst feeling

Stafford is elite and has been since his second year

the lions never built a team around a special player they've always slapped shit and said done

luckily they have the best GM in the game now who helped the Pats win 4 bowls and appear in 6 , only reason pats didn't draft like retards is because of him and when billy picked players(beasley) we found out why bob quinn was highly regarded in the patriots organization and all throughout the league

I think it's kinda like a girl (or guy) who hasn't had a gf/bf in a while so they get super needy. Anyone who they are even a little interested in they jump at, completely ignoring whether or no they're a good partner just because they so desperately want one. Rodgers was picked at a time when they did not need him in the slightest, same for Brady and Prescott to an extent. Whereas these other teams are so desperate for a QB they'll pick whoever will have them/is available and then their predicament ends up being even worse and they get more desperate where what they need to have is patience.

Is this season all part of his plan?

I swear he had that baseball bat to hit anyone who tried to make a bad decision.

They should be 2-2

refballed in the titans game desu

Quinn said he was just going to watch his first season unfold to see what needed to be addressed. Seeing what we see now, expect another purge soon. Don't expect overnighy success though, the new president gave a five year estimate so let's hope Stafford keeps that arm up to par

Don't forget Indy went from Peyton to Luck with one season in between (and Peyton was injured that year, still on the team).

Too bad they can't do shit outside of QB though

>Spent dozens of high 1st round picks only to keep racking up busts

Because they expect rookie QBs straight out of college football to start giving super bowls wins right away to teams that were so shit that they finished off with the worst record in the league.

They can't handle getting repeatedly sacked by actual adults or competent pass defenses right away or how to fix their own shit offenses and after their first 0TD 3 INT games people start calling for their heads.

The best thing you can do is start off slow and let them slowly develop into the position, learn the team system and how shit works in the big league, hence Brady and Rodgers.

>tfw the Browns drafted Brian sipe Bernie kosar and Otto graham

FUCK OFF THE BILLS AND DOLPHINS AT LEAST HAD KELLY AND MARINO

Sipe was a 13th round and kosar was a supplemental
