£100m for a glorified Bebe

>£100m for a glorified Bebe

have two bigger frauds ever been in the same photograph?

Pogba isn't a fraud. He'll come good eventually. Just look at how long it took for players like Vidic and De Gea to get going at Man Utd.

>Mourinho
>fraud

He's one of the most successful managers of the past decade, with just one bad year.

Pogba is a fraud though, he's good but he's not world transfer record good.

For £100m you should get a player that will be great immediately, like Bale, Suarez, or Sanchez

>76000 ounces of gold for a dabbing ivan campo

literally all of them were shit when they started their first season. You probably didn't know that because you're just another dumb burguer

Kek, no.

No kidding Bebe would score some blooters here and there in Spain.

>literally all of them were shit when they started their first season. You probably didn't know that because you're just another dumb burguer

What are you talking about? The 3 of them had fantastic first years following their last transfer to their current clubs.

Modric didn't start off well for Madrid and he became arguably their most important player.

>colombianigger in charge of knowing about sawker(football, futbal).
Sanchez, Suarez, and Bale all did well their first seasons at their new clubs you fucking retard.

Yeah, once Mourinho was gone. Really makes you think...

Sorry for your loss. Maybe choose not to talk about football next time?

Also, read on postmodernism, opinions cannot be 'correct'.

Suarez was always good

why do you have to be so rude? we're all friends here

Best thing is that anyone who bothered to watch Pogba regulary in Italy was saying something like this was going to happen ever since the transfer went through, but Manure customers in their delusion honestly thought they were getting Zidane+Vieira rolled into one.

Just shut the fuck up everyone. If you have a definite opinion on Pogba you are a moron.
All of you are worthless Man u haters or blatant racists. People who sucks the dick of Pogba all day are just niggerlover, french idiots or Man U fans.

Be modered for once in your life for fuck's sake.

And stop spreading bullshit every single Juventus fan or even only Serie A follower were just denying the transfer

> He will never leave because he want to win the CL with Juve

They started saying he's just a worthless piece of shit when people made fun of them for buying Higuain for almost the same prize.

Assblasted manure fan detected, don't get so triggered. Off to >>>/reddit/

The only true part is that >we didn't think he would leave for Manure in their current state. When the transfer fee was announced, I don't believe any Juve fan would prefer to keep him and reject the money.
>Higuain
Yeah, and how is that deal working out so far? And Pogba in England?

Will Flopba ever even reach De Bruyne's level? De Bruyne is only 2 years older

Didn't they tell you? WE ARE ALL AT WAR

Modric cost 30 million though.

Probably not but at least he's healthy

juve fan checking in...ur 100% right. At 100 million even the most casual wanted him out. Pogba was eternally exposed after pirlo left team and he just ran around like a headless chicken. He is not a play making mid fielder and his vision is shit.

Of course the season isn't over yet, but he's already played enough to judge early contribution. All Pogba managed to do is confirming he's a Juve babby coasting on work of Pirlo/Vidal and Marchisio/Khedira and becomming a laughing stock. Random 25mil midfield purchase from BPL could perform the same way he did.

It was very stupid to doubt Higuain and calling him fat yeah that's not the point. Juventus fans and Serie A watchers were not saying that he would flop.

Agreed. Honestly I was a bit worried about the Higuain deal at first, but it seems to be working out perfectly.

>he is shit
>but at least he can be shit on the field
Fucking hilarious

Well --> I didn't think he would flop hard, just worried he might have a slow start affecting his confidence. But he's scoring like a madman right away.

They were not saying that Pogba would flop.

people were laughing at city when the splashed on KDB. but nobody cares now because it's a year later and he's performing.
Man U needs superstars and champions league finals more than they need 100 mil.

all this "banter" is playing right into their hands.

a year from now some other team will spend even more money on some other player and 2 years from now the casual fan won't even be able to tell you how much pogba cost.

Just like how people forgot how much Andy Carroll cost

The only people who believed Pogba transfer wasn't a scam of the century were Manure fans, and Manure-friendly media. And the customers are still making up excuses for him.

>Mourinho has less points than Van Gaal in his first season

lel

What bullshit, Suarez and Sanchez at least were great first season

Damage control

Seeing Martin "Shove your cock up my Manc arse" Tyler jizz his pants every time Pogba touched the ball on his debut was fucking hilarious.

POOOOGGGBBAAAAA, as he shoots it miles wide.

i'd rather spend 100M on a 23 year old pogba than 75M on a 28 year old higuain. juve isn't winning the champions league with higuain.
by spending on pogba they're telling real madrid, barca, and bayern: "we're getting back in this". obviously it's going to take time.

kek

not really, i'm a neutral.
theres a reason fans on imageboards don't run huge clubs: because they have no idea how the business works.

Suarez won the treble, Bale won the double, and Sanchez won the FA Cup and was the best player at Arsenal that season, rival to Eden Hazard for player of the year.

>I'd rather blow the budget away on dabbing Djemba-Djemba than proven clinical goalscorer who performs right away
Kek, Barca and Real both had some interest in Pogba initially but pulled away when they found out the asking price, about three times the real value. The only thing Manure proved is that they are pants on head retarded when it comes to transfer. Oh, and Pogba is black, don't expect him to get any better with age. This is his prime.

What a fucking cuck customer, hilarious.

>perfectly
>fucking 29 years old

yeah but you're not winning the CL so you could have saved the 75M and be in exactly the same position.

if what i'm thinking is true, and united are building towards superstars at every position, then spending 100M on pogba doesn't really matter in the scheme of things.

like i already said, i'm not a united fan. but all this shit talking after 6 games with no fucking perspective on the bigger picture is more retarded than spending 100M on a player.

>literally all of them were shit when they started their first season

Suarez was brilliant immediately. Also, why the hell is Sanchez even in the conversation? He only cost 40 million. The three most expensive transfers from before this summer were Bale (100 mil), Ronaldo (95 mil), and Suarez (80 mil), and they all had great first seasons.

Goal-to-game ratio so far speaks in his favour, whether you like it or not. Higuain is tap-in merchant anyway, not a sprinter or towering header. With his off the ball movement and clinical finish he can bang in 30+ goals a season for another 4 or 5 years.

>superstars
They have spent almost a billion pounds over the last 3 transfer windows and haven't won shit and are no closer to that with a shit CM that gets overrun every game. Your arguments are fucking nonsensical. It wasn't a smart business decision, it wasn't a smart football decision, they didn't "put anyone on notice" with their shit signings.

Whether you think you're right or not, you should stop trying to give these people reason.

They don't make these threads to change outlook, they do it to mock what they deem a flop.

>you're not winning
Juve is certainly closer to CL title than Manure, who will struggle to even qualify for the competition the way things are going. Barca is a favorite to win CL, but between Real, Bayern and Juve it's pretty much equal I'd say.
>superstar in every position
Superstar based on what? Money paid? Shirts sold? Performances in another league, where the player was carried by superior teammates? It's not just the case of Pogba not living up to the expactations in early performances, but how useless in general he is. Time won't turn him into a world class player.

name one thing pogba does at an elite level other than dab. i will be waiting all day

>£100m for a thick-lipped Hosogai.

>£100m for a poor man's Moussa Sissoko

Miss me yet?

you think because some signings didn't work out united are just going to close up shop and giving up? no, they're doubling down. this isn't going to stop any time soon.
can you people see more than a month out?

i want juve to do well, i really do. i like them, i'm not fan but i like them.
i'm also not so deluded that i can't see what united are trying to do. while you're over here laughing at them they're busy putting long term pieces together. get a clue.

The thing is that after SAF left the only repuatation Manure are building is that of a team throwing around stupid money and disappointing. Long-term vision is something Tottenham for example does - giving opportunities to young local talent and careful scouting where they factor in other aspects than just marketability. How much did Wanyama cost compared to Pogba, and how does he do in comparable role? Current Manure is just merchandise selling corporation with history based almost solely on genius of previous manager.

let me ask you a question. LVG has had a better start as a United manager than Mourinho. You think LVG is a better choice for United?

>Barca is a favorite to win CL

But they're trash now. The CL winner will be a meme team quote me on this.

Leicester?!

I can't say, honestly. But Mourinho isn't exactly known for long-term vision, developing talent and such, if that's what Manure are after, as you say. All his previous stints were similiar - squeezing the most out of current squad with addition of new stars, and leaving it in devastated condition and broken morale. Murinho is a short-term success specialist, he was brought in to win the league within two seasons. If that doesn't happen, the team will be in worse state than under >moyes.

Almost all top CL clubs are meh so far, except... (Not counting the Inter match, but they were on fire against Juve)

>Suarez
>Literally wins the treble his first season at Barca, scores in the CL final
>Bale
>Scores in the Copa del Rey final, scores in the CL final, wins the double
>Sanchez
>wins countless twitter polls thanks to Arsenal fans

I think they all had successful first seasons tbhwyf

the fact that you can't even bring yourself to mention the horrible soccer man u were playing under LVG confirms you have some kind of agenda in this argument aside from having an opinion on what it take to build a successful club.

Yeah, it was a boring possession play with little end product under LvG. Mourinho on the other hand plays outdated frigid system and tries to park the bus as soon as they have one goal advantage, and doesn't press nearly as much as modern game demands. Both of them are past their best years.

>ll his previous stints were similiar - squeezing the most out of current squad with addition of new stars, and leaving it in devastated condition and broken morale

That's true for second stint at Chelsea, but he left Inter and Porto on very good terms. And when he left Real Madrid, morale was low but the team itself was good. They finished 2nd and reached the CL semifinals the year he got fired, and he brought in players like Di Maria and Modric who ended up having a huge impact the following season. He also started the process of freezing out that rat Casillas.

>all these fucking morons going on about how they all had a great first season

He's right. Pogba hasn't had enough time to call him a flop. Bale was definitely underwhelming at first (to this day he doesn't perform as he should, but that's all on >Zidane's lack of balls to bench Rolando). Suarez was hilariously bad for like a month or so (he couldn't even pass the ball like a pro footballer), everyone here was calling him a flop and what not. And Sanchez plays for Arsenal.

>Inter
The team never recovered though, he burnt out all the senior players for good. Short-term success, his trademark.
>Real
2nd liga spot and CL semi is pretty much the minimum for Real, isn't it? Mourinho's reign there was a general disappointment (1 Liga and 1 Mickey Mouse cup in three years). Both Modric and Di Maria started performing great only after Mourinho left, and there was a civil war going on in locker room that Ancelotti had to deal with right away.
I'm not sure whether Mourinho can still emulate the past success he had, the tactics in Manure seem prehistoric at least. But I doubt his recently poor man management changed a bit.

How much would Pogba be worth if he didn't dab?

He is right though, Bale Suarez and Sanchez in their first season at their new clubs did well.

Before I say anything, Let me iterate that I am not a Manure Customer.

Personally, I think that LVG needed more time.

Before I get crap about XYZ, you need to understand that SAF had a rough start as well. I understand that not everyone liked his Play-style, his so called "Philosophy" wasn't exactly well received in hoofballland, but he was able to salvage what Moyes fucked up and in his first Attempt got Manure back into European Football. Its not winning the title but that is fucking impressive for a team that finished 7th the season prior.

People Now (Fans and Owners Alike) don't have the patience needed to grow a team (Or in Manure's case, re-grow) into something big like SAF did in the before time. They expect results and they expect them three days ago.

>get Balotelli for free
>he immediatly delivers

What did OGC Nice mean by this?

>Sanchez

funny thing is Sanchez literally only cost 30 mil

That's Eliaquim Mangala minus 1/10th of a dabbing Leroy Fer

Has PSG been exposed yet? Haven't been following Ligue UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN as of late.

You seriously can't compare it to SAFs first seasons. He wasnt splashing hundreds of millions ever summer, he didnt break the club transfer record on a player and literally admit he didn't know his best position.

Football has changed, what happened 25+ years ago is completely irrelevant.

>they're telling real madrid, barca, and bayern: "we're getting back in this".

The new galacticos la

>but between Real, Bayern and Juve it's pretty much equal I'd say.
Kek. Juve is behind Atletico as a contender for the CL

PSG has many problems and already lost 2 games. Only 1 striker which is either really good or totally bad, problem players (Ben Arfa, Aurier), players who don't deliver (Di Maria)

If it goes on, Monaco or Nice will get the title

>Memephis De Gay not even on the list

Truly Galacticos La

Why does Atleti Choke vs Real tho?

So effectively what you have just told me, is that after Ibra left the teams has fallen apart?

They always choke in CL finals. It doesnt matter the rival

his transfer price is irrelevant, weekly wages are what matters, 100m for a transfer may as well have been 1 dollar for united no difference

To be fair though. the only other opponent they played was Bayern Munich in '73.

Though losing to fucking Tottenham and Dynamo Kyiv in the Cup Winners Cup doesn't really help their image as Chokers.

>100m for a transfer may as well have been 1 dollar for united no difference
United's annual transfer budget is around 190 M pounds. They blew half of their budget on the dabbing De la Peña

>Bayern Munich in '73.
Reciving a goal in the last minute of the extra time

He makes £290,000 a week.

HE MAKES MORE THAN RONALDO, MESSI, SUAREZ, BALE and FUCKING NEYMAR.

He is very, very, very, very, very expensive.

Damn....

Just like the 2014 Final.

Well Technically Ramos sent it into Extra Time and Atletico just....

Well, they died.

>building towards superstars at every position

meanwhile Spurs have spent less than a tenth of manure and have hardworking budding stars at every position.

>manure

Zlatan was perfect for a PSG who bullied the Ligue 1. However he was overpaid and didnt delivered in the big games. Tb.h PSG supporters won't care if they don't win again the title but go farthest in the UCL.

I also guess the team must find its marks with the new manager. Blanc wasnt that bad after all

That feel when a South Korean manlet is better than 100000000 Pogba.

Question, why was Blanc sacked? Was it because they lost to the owners 5th cousin, Manchester City? Or was it because of the line of shoddy Champions League Performances where they consistently were knocked out in the Quarter Finals?

SAD!

Son Heung-min is a Winger, Pogba is supposed to be an Attacking Midfielder, but isn't

Maybe there was a reason that SAF let Pogba go for free...

>Suarez was brilliant immediately

People seem to have really short memories. It took him a good few months to get going for Barca. It was in the 2nd half of the season where he really started to shine.

I think because he chocked in the UCL. I think the owner felt Blanc had not the experience, the method or the vision to reach a final.

taking Emery, which is a multiple times cup winner with a team not that great, makes sense in that regard

That 13 year old who played for Celtic last night put in a better shift than Pogba has this season

>Sanchez was shit in his first season

>i'd rather spend 100M on a 23 year old pogba than 75M on a 28 year old higuain. juve isn't winning the champions league with higuain.

It's not too late to join the good guys. Just do it quick before you get exposed by fucking celtic again

Come on rube-bro, you were pretty shit in the last two league games and only managed a draw against Sevilla at home. Though I still think you have a decent chance in the CL with a bit of luck

>he left Inter on very good terms
LUL
Hiroshima recovered faster from being nuked than Inter has from losing Mourinho

>by spending on pogba they're telling real madrid, barca, and bayern: "we're getting back in this"

Lmao, United customers are hilarious. No, that just tells big clubs that you have been selling a lot of shirts

And only one success without gazillions in transfer spend

>by spending on pogba they're telling real madrid, barca, and bayern: "we're getting back in this"

Post of the year by far.

Pogba was hugely overrated and only appeared "good" because he scored blooters and sometimes did great body balance.

Juventus basically tricked the world into thinking they have a 100m player. And boy, United got fucking baited

For that price tag, Wijnaldum springs to mind. Except he was from the championship.

I miss Van Laal t b h, still remember when the absolute madman decided to play Fellaini as striker

Fellaini played as a striker for Everton

Yes, but if I remember correctly, that happened because all of their forwards were out injured and also >Moyes

Wait till he chokes in the big games

Friendly Reminder that Mourinho is a genius:

1. First manager to play Eto at right back
2. First manager to have 2 world record breaking signings and fail to win the champions league with them
3. Cast out Kevin DeBruyne because he wasn't running around like a retarded chicken on the wing like he demanded
4. First manager to get blown the fuck out by his own physio
5. First manager to alienate his club's greatest servant because they didn't obey him unquestionably
6. Sold Romelu lukaku for pennies without inserting a buyback clause
7. Wasted the David Luiz money on a one season wonder like matic
8. Turned Nigeria's most promising attacking midfielder into a boring, useless defensive midfielder
9. Begged for a Ruined Kaka then whined about how he wasn't good enough
10. First manager to give Real Madrid's #10 shirt to invisible meme
11. Turned Ronaldo from an all around dominant force of nature into a petulant tap-in babby that can't perform without the rest of the team spoonfeeding him
12. Almost ruined luka modric
13. Turned an impressionably young, highly creative attacking midfield into the modern day run around and do nothing player we see today, Oscar
14. Ruined Eden Hazard
15. Almost chased away all the goat youth at Chelsea
16. Already ruined Martial and soon Rashford
17. Convinced his club to spend trillion double dollars for a dabbing Leroy Fer
19. First manager to gouge out a cancer patients eyes and get away with it
20. trusted Thibaut Courtois to not be a rat after he betrayed DeBruyne and got rid of Cech
21. demanded Cuadrado only to bench him completely
22. insisted on a washed up Branislav Ivanovic instead of playing the best defensive left back in football, Filipe Luis
23.Still is deluded enough to play the club's albatross of a captain, Wayne Rooney

>pogbad gets the ball 35 yards out
>decides to shoot
