When I first started betting, I made a rule with myself that I wouldn't bet more than what I would normally earn over the course of the game. I've broken that rule a few times (making $1,500 bets), but on extremely favorable odds just to fulfill rollover requirements. On a single bet $100 is the max I've lost.

But... now I'm paying it myself isn't that a fair punishment?

The most sickening feeling I had ever got after a was the Panthers Giants game last year. Panthers were favored by 4, was up 35-7 in the 3rd quarter, and somehow get the game tied 35-35. Of course they won by exactly 3
