It's the little things that count in movies like that, and the fact that they had such abysmal attention to detail (even if it's not something most people would notice without looking for it), that just shows what a slapped together load of crap it is. Which is really grating for a movie masquerading as one of those "no-budget labour of love" horror movies that often become classics, because clearly there was no love to speak of put into it.

As someone who was forgiving of the piss poor story telling for the sake of the (tragically wasted) concept, I was happy to see Adam tear the execution to shreds.
It did get pretty repetitive, though, brought up the muting and screen sharing a few too many times.

It's not about if you can "tell" that its consenting, it's about the power dynamics that reduce the meaning of consent.
