It had its crappy episode-of-the-week moments and annoying characters, but by and large Hannibal was a sumptuous feast for the eyes and an excellent exercise in symbolic minimalism.

the KOTW parts were some of the best parts of the show though

for example? when i think of those episodes, i think of the dying old man who somehow hung 5 dead bodies to a tree overnight by himself.

if you rewatch the show you will find the switch very easy to identify
