I don't want to hate this guy. I have no problem with normies enjoying movies. But the idea of this shameless pleb presenting himself as an expert on cinema disgusts me. He wrote a book called "The Film Buff's Bucket List" which contains only films from the 2000s. Among them: Signs, X2, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Avengers, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In his entire Blu-ray collection he has, I think, six movies made before Jaws, and five of them were part of the same Hitchcock box set.

Like I said, you don't have to be an expert in film history to enjoy a movie. There's nothing wrong with enjoying superhero movies if you're into that sort of thing, but if you're going to present yourself as an expert, you really need to know more than Chris does.

Bonus story: he was on Anthony Fantano's podcast and decided to recommend a band to the internet's busiest music nerd, Dire Straits.

Honestly the worst part about Chris Stuckmann is that he always manages to say nothing while rambling on about movies. He just doesn't seem to want to hold himself to what he actually believes but instead tries to be a middle ground.

He is the king of the normies.

i stopped watching when he posted a 30 minute video attempting to do damage control and playing the victim after he wrote a shitty BvS fan-fiction.

also his laugh is ear piercing.

Yeah that was fucking awful. He starts by brushing it off as no big deal and ends by crying

I believe he is mentally retarded, he's on the same level of thought as a 12 year old. Just watch one of his videos and imagine a child in his place, it makes complete sense

You may be right.
youtube.com/watch?v=E4-T0UhQXc4

Here is someone who has found a niche as a self described 'film buff' without ever having a single insightful thought on cinema in his entire life.

This. Seeing how butthurt he got and watching him almost cry on video over people making fun of him for his script made me lose all respect for him. I always thought he was a decent guy with pleb tastes but somewhat enjoyable. Seeing that video just made me think he's a fucking loser and kind of a weirdo.

Goddamit why are all movie reviewers that get popular fucking autists

I don't care about his opinions. It's his complete lack of a personality I dislike. He's a complete bore.

How does that stuff not make you want to hate him? Would it kill the faggot to look up an Armond White review?

Only autistic people look up reviews in significant enough numbers to make somebody famous. Normal people don't give a fuck and people who actually know their stuff are all going to better sources than youtube.

Not to mention the same thing happened when Red Letter Media made a brief joke about him.

youtube.com/watch?v=2qpT7bWSgwg

He's fucking pathetic, i want to stomp on him

>How does that stuff not make you want to hate him?
If he was just a normie who likes popular movies, there wouldn't be a problem. I don't look down on my friends who get excited about Marvel movies. The difference is my friends don't call themselves movie critics and act like they have a lot of film knowledge.

what the actual fuck was that intro and that haircut?

For the record, Dire Straits is the shit.

And that difference is why he's such a cunt. He probably knows about as much as the average Cred Forums poster (which is pathetically little) but he acts like an authority on the subject.

Shit taste is fine. It's normal. But writing a book on your shit taste and preaching that shit to people who don't know better is awful.

The first 30 seconds of this.
youtube.com/watch?v=maUudBkqImE

CREERRNG

nonono

'Money For Nothing' and 'Sultans of Swing' the band.

They're fucking shit m8

Chris doesn't even watch the movies he reviews.

He has a super high "agree rate" with rotten tomatoes.

Guys, I can't decide whether to buy a collection of Francois Truffaut's essays, or Chris Stuckmann's book. Who knows more about film?

THAT LITTLE FAGGOT

>forgetting "Walk of Life"

>christ stuckmann is one of the top 5 movie critics on Youtube - watchmojo

so like every other youtube critic then? i bet you think red letter media know what their talking about

>he was on Anthony Fantano's podcast and decided to recommend a band to the internet's busiest music nerd, Dire Straits

You're forgetting one thing.

youtu.be/j7XKrPjy-wA

>I would probably do the same thing if someone said The Last Airbender movie was better than the cartoon

>just imagining if somebody ever actually said to Chris Stuckmann "Dragon Ball Evolution is better than the manga" he probably WOULD actually beat the shit out of them.. LMFAO!!

Jesus Christ the comments section is like an autism convention.

To each their own. Knopfler is one hell of a guitarist though.

Chris Stuckmann is like a one man autism convention

>when your hair says One Direction but your beard says Jihadi John

...

>if Goku were a nu-male

That guy looks familiar, is he from any educational channel?

Yes. He's John Green, the /lit/ meme.

I've only been heavily film for like 2 months and I already have knowledge and unique taste than this fucker. I wish I was a normie so I could make a living babbling about moovees to a webcam.

>This movie was pretty good
>I didn't like some bits
>Tell me what you think in the comments, like, rate, and subscribe

say that to kino's snapped neck!

Now I'm really confused. /lit/ is a bit too smart for me, I guess.

>Signs,

That is the only review of his you need to see to know he has no critical or evaluation skills when defending a movie he likes. It's worse that he hyped the shit out of that review too.

I agree it's ok for a normie to like movies and it's ok for people to like dumb shit, but I expect more than circular logic and "I like it because I like it" arguments, from a presentation of someone pretending to be an expert.

He writes lousy books for teen girls who think they're special. Often they're pornographic in nature, but he gets away with it.

The Every Frame a Painting guy is much worse/insufferable.

His face is weird to me. He always looks concerned/confused, even when he's not.

This.

Or when he plays off super fucking film 101 obvious stuff as some secret formula to fix all movies.

> Shaky cam is bad in action movies.
> Suspense is good in horror movies.
> Using your phone in the theater is bad.

With such insight you'd think hes going to start the next 'wave' of cinema. I just want him to make a movie, for it to be fucking garbage (like Linkara and Doug tried) and then slowly fall into a little niche slum on the internet and whenever his name comes up people will mention that garbage movie he made and how someone who produced something so shit shouldn't critique anything.

Every Frame A Painting is def film student bro af but he atleast usually has something unique to say.

Come on, No. Just no. Every Frame at least understands film and has a very interesting, original, and entertaining presentation style. Does he deal only in the basics? yes, but that's kind of the point.
tl;dr Every Frame>>power gap>>Chris

I disagree Cred Forums hates him because "le basic film knowledge" but the fact of the matter is he is giving people who don't have that basic knowledge basic knowledge. You may think you're above the service but there is a place for entry level knowledge on things.

Stuckman is just a moron who's ramblings serve no purpose to anyone. They aren't even so bad they're comedic, they're just plain idiotic and uninteresting. His name describes his growth as a person.

He's one of those guys where when he starts talking you can tell he spent a week thinking of what to say about the topic/frame and making sure it sounds like he knows what he's talking about, and half the time it comes off as him expanding endlessly on absolutely nothing. Like he'll come with an analysis that literally is nothing but a surface observation and then fail to go anywhere with it for an incredibly long time and you can tell by the way he talks about that he spent a few good days rehearsing how to make it sound smart.

>all these thumbnails
>he's wearing the same shirt in most of these
>he's not wearing that shirt in the reviews
>Chris Stuckmann has a folder of these pictures he took all at once, and attaches one to each video

>LOL DUDE CAPESHIT ISNT AS GOOD AS REGULAR MOVIES AND ILL TELL YOU WHY

Hrm, really makes me think. Maybe he should work on a new series of videos explaining to people the revolutionary thought that Adam Sandler comedies and Transformers movies aren't good too.

I see your problem. You're literally too stupid to understand Every Frame a Painting, a series made for entry-level film plebs. Stick to Stuckman I guess.

I've never seen this guy's videos, watched some of his American Sniper review and holy shit, you guys aren't joking.

>"Jeremy Irons does a great performance, the cinematography was excellent, the action was handled really well"
>Jumpcut
>Jumpcut
>Jumpcut

Literally nothing of substance. The word hack gets thrown around a lot but this guy is seriously a hack, he's either genuinely clueless or doesn't say his own opinion for fear of criticism.

I don't need a 13 minute video to me pointing out Marvel movies have forgettable scores and why. It's common fucking sense. He himself finishes the explanation in his first 3 sentences.

But then he keeps going.

For 13 minutes.

No deeper analysis or commentary, just "here's a scene with the score, here without, y'see how it's generic and that's why you don't remember it??"

I don't need 18 analysis on why capeshit movies are bland and forgettable, but they're popular so having videos that make the normies either angry or go "hrm, really made me think" is all he fucking does.

Chris Stuckman just has NOTHING to say, and goes with the popular opinion, even if the popular opinion is undecided, meaning he has nothing to say about being neutral on a film. He's an idiot who just babbles on about nothing, instead of an idiot who pretends to know what he's talking about babbling on about his opening thesis statement and showing off his video editing "skillz".

>Bonus story: he was on Anthony Fantano's podcast and decided to recommend a band to the internet's busiest music nerd, Dire Straits.
holy fucking shit

I appreciate his enthusiasm for movies. He just needs to dig deeper into film

>goku

That's the gist of it. He's satisfied to be a pleb, which is fine, but not if you're trying to be a film critic. He lists Ebert as an influence, but Ebert would talk openly about his disdain for people who don't watch old movies.

In one of fuckman's older reviews, I cant remember which exactly. He said "I think people only like certain movies to look smarter to other people." He then implied he was talking about older films and I assume he was trying to snub art-house stuff but was not even familiar with that basic of a term.

That book sounds I treating but I doubt you're being completely true about it

Here's the full list.

letterboxd.com/cinemafox/list/the-film-buffs-bucket-list/

I personally think Every Frame a Painting is a pretty decent channel, but the videos about temp music and the marvel score was pretty lazy, especially since he stated in the F for Fake video that he was trying to stop just throwing a list at us, and that is exactly what the companion video did. His most recent videos seem to have been written by other dudes though, which could explain why they've been pretty forgettable.

Why does he love Tom Cruise movies so gosh darn much?

Wtf is that really it??

More like a nerds bucket list thatd be an ok name but film buff? No way in hell

I've seen everything but Marnie. Am I stuckmanized yet?

This list is obviously terrible but what the fuck is Cache doing on there? It sticks out like a sore thumb.

It's real. Buy it yourself here.

amazon.com/Film-Buffs-Bucket-List-Movies/dp/1633530957/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474361519&sr=8-1&keywords=film buff's bucket list

I was thinking the same thing, maybe he thought he needed at least one foreign film that wasn't Oldboy to seem patrish.

As a guy who dont give a shit about reviews and who's favorite film is stardust, i can honestly say that i do not give a shit about Chris Stuckmann nor his opinion on films and this applies to all you fucking niggers.

although I watch his hilariocrity reviews and watch him cringly criticizing cringey movies

>i do not give a shit about someone, and this applies to all of you
what were you even trying to say here?
>cringly
what were you
>cringly criticizing cringey

> chris-stuckmann.png

Literally who?

>Theaters around the world are dominated by comic book heroes, ice princesses, apocalyptic love-struck teens, and whatever masterpiece Pixar is rolling out. It’s clear that cinema is as healthy as ever.

Wow I haven't laughed this hard in a while thanks.

you know what i meant reddit

>Theaters around the world are dominated by comic book heroes, ice princesses, apocalyptic love-struck teens, and whatever masterpiece Pixar is rolling out. It’s clear that cinema is as healthy as ever.
Is that a joke?

huh?

what are you even saying?

>he also never moves his eyebrows once

That's the summary of the book lel.

he's a gay nigger

Still better than that one dude who fucks dogs 2bh.

I know. Coming from anyone besides Stuckmann it would sound like a joke.

To reply to his image, it's because some people place importance on sex. To some people, it's an intimate act, and not some mundane activity like eating Cheerios.

If sex is no big deal, why are sex crimes such a big deal? According to this joker, getting raped is as serious as having someone take a bite of your Cheerios. Bozo needs to go back to clown school.

the winter soldier is capeshit avant garde scatocosmic kino

jesus fucking christ that is awful

Dude has a fucking Hunger Games + a ton of other basic bitch movie posters in a lot of his videos.
His taste in plastic shelf garbage is okay though.

>Captain America
>Edge of Tomorrow
>Ghost Protocol

Jeez man, sure these are good movies but god damn. He's selling a book about this? My friends would've seen most of these movies. About 7 of those 50 movies deserve to be on that list. Not to mention the foreign movies he's completely messed out. This is honestly disgusting. If this was his favourite movie list, it
would be a pretty solid normie list, I can't believe there's a book saying these movies should be on your bucket list.

>tfw you realize Good Bad Flicks exists and never watch Stuck man again

Love that guy's shit. He's so chill.

>gets bullied
>is a victim
>doesn't grow from the experiences
>forever has a victim complex
>can never see himself as the prick
worst kind of person

He's a few notches above Stuckman, but he is barely smarter or more critical in any of videos than AVGN. I also get the impression he aims to be contrarian in a few of his reviews, but doesn't really have the knowledge to do so, so he meanders a lot when ever his opinions are something between absolute love or hate. Nuance is his enemy.

I might make a channel reviewing reviewers and critics.

I thought that isn't allowed in the new rules

That only matters if you want to make money. I cant let green stuff ruin my art.

I don't really care for his reviews, they're kinda boring but I always watch his Exploring videos, they're comfy

These people, RLM and the like, are exploiting the new movie audience. They have no desire to review important art films because no one will watch it because 95% of people don't give a shit about obscure films or art films. It's all normies browsing YouTube and then seeing a review for a new release and having that autistic eureka moment where their pea brains think, "Oooooh, I wanna see that mooooveeee." And click, they give these pleb YouTube channels the views that they are seeking for MONEY. Revenue is all they seek.

How do you survive without money? Do you really think you can live homeless, eat and drink nothing and be happy free child of earth? Thats so naive.

well, I don't watch RLM to hear Mike's and Jay's opinion on important art films, I watch them for their knowledge of b-movies and horror. If i want to learn about "important art films" I'll read a book or watch A Story of Film again

This is the 90's man, money is for plens.

>A Story of Film
I hate this guy. That whole doc felt like a cuck apologizing for how most directors are white males, and overemphasizing the importance of African films from the 60's nobody's heard of.

fuck off Mark Cousins is absolutely based. I could listen to this guy read absolutely anything, even Stuckmann's book.

I rest my case. They know that as well, which is why they don't (for the most part) touch films like that.

shameless self promotion but I just started a new youtube channel dedicated to horror movies reviews (lol there isn't enough of those right)

youtube.com/channel/UCfMw2L2BbvUiIgi9YXFlvHg

did my first review on Rob Zombie's new movie, doing Blair Witch and the new Johnnie To soon

I was liking it until he said Casablanca was bad and I started to notice he'd hate literally any American film that came up.

I can understand not liking Hollywood especially today in general, but his views seemed overly critical of the US and overly pandering of everywhere else. Had he just said something like "I admire those classics but I'd rather focus on these other films you might not know about." Or something to that effect I'd be fine with him just focusing on people like Ozu and shit.

I watched the series when they showed it on Turner Classic Movies. It took me a long time to get used to his voice. I cringed every time I tuned in to hear, "Thonk yooooo, Robort, eet's a pleasare to be heair." I did learn some stuff from it, but it was really pretentious in places. That stuff about "the bauble" and that gorilla costume in the last episode. And like I said, I think he really overemphasis women and minorities, when the simple fact is they haven't contributed as much to film. His interviews are unbearable.
youtube.com/watch?v=uYWGpjjyhrY

The only reason he gets jobs is that his cousin is Tilda Swinton.

I think his actual line was "Hollywood isn't classical, but Japan is." Whatever that means.

>tfw this isn't photoshopped

They're just braces. Granted, having braces as an adult is pretty sad, but his teeth aren't as rotten as they look.

chris is fine, he's just a normie. YMS is way worse since he actually pretends he knows about film while refusing to watch old movies

Man Doug always looks like a creep in still photos.

I don't even want to imagine the bizarre fetishes he payed hookers to indulge in with that "game show" money.

>messaged them on Twitter
lmao RLM probably were laughing their asses off.

is he the Jonah Hill of youtubers? at least Jahns, the guy who was actually being targeted, took it jokingly and said something like "yeah, my friends call me a prick too."

Jahns is more annoying than Chris, but I think he knows he's the more stupid of the two. So I like him more, even though I like watching him even less.

...

Jeremy doesn't pretend he's something he's not. Chris thinks he's a serious film critic and overall takes himself way too seriously.

He needs to destroy that camera.

Do you think he ever just feels disgusted with himself?

I think he seriously sees himself as artist, which is hilarious I know, but it probably killed him inside that Demo Reel was rejected and hated so quickly. I'd feel bad if it wasn't delusion and he wasn't a prick by every personal account I have heard people say about him.

I liked his Scooby-Doo 2 review. He spends a good deal of time "parodying" Psych, which I don't think is a popular enough show for this to work, but there's a real "Zod's Snapped Neck" moment at the end where Doug declares that his horrible skits throughout the episode were "doing something the movie didn't, tell a good story".

If I cared about that I'd watch it. Shill again when you have something worth seeing. Talk about Richard Stanley or some this. Nobody does that.

If you want attention for covering breaking stuff you have to go into clickbait overdrive and exclusively use video thumbnails with bright impact font next to a picture of you making a faggot face.

kek

>Talk about Richard Stanley or some this.

hmm, I do love Dust Devil so that's a potential review. Need to rewatch Hardware, haven't seen that in a long time but I don't remember it being as good as DD

>Doug declares that his horrible skits throughout the episode were "doing something the movie didn't, tell a good story".

That has kind of been the whole problem with Channel Awesome the last 3 and a half years. It went from being a fun side thing they all did to Doug thinking he was a visionary that could one up the people he was criticizing. The sad thing was he wasn't the only one who bit the bullshit pill and a lot of the site agreed with him.

I hadn't seen anything of his for a while and I saw one of his "what we really thought vids." Which I hate the concept of for a lot of reasons, but anyway, he said in it that his brother is the business side and he's the artistic half and the sad amount of sincerity and lack of self reflection just made me cringe. I cant believe how highly he thinks of himself and how amazing he thinks he is for internet reviews when he isn't even the best at doing that and he wasn't at the start.

No it's his teeth.

his opinions are so bland I think he doesn't even watch half of the movies he reviews. especially when he reviews an older movie, it sounds like he just read the wikipedia page and browsed the IMDB forums a while to see what's the general opinion on the movie

He's kind of relevant now since Elijah Wood's company has decided to fund his adaption of 'The Colour Out of Space,' one of H.P. Lovecraft's stranger creations.

They're also funding Panos Cosmatos, the 'Beyond the Black Rainbow' guy. He might also be worth a look if you need some out of the way subject matter.

He's terrified of giving the 'wrong' review of a film.

Can't risk losing those views.

Why do you faggots keep talking about this moron?

He literally saved people from suicide, now I'm not saying he is the second coming of Christ but thousands of people follow him and listen to his work. People call him just to thank him for continuing to make videos and for being him. Really makes you think

He's so insufferably smug, he loves the sound of his own voice

>he spent a week thinking of what to say
very likely, it's an editorial
>fail to go anywhere with it for an incredibly long time
they're like 5 minute videos

Hello stuckman

youtube.com/watch?v=hM9-45UZL8E

>i'm a big fan

lady writer on the TV

Nice

*waves hands around like a spastic*
he must be self-conscious about this so why does he keep doing it?

*happy keyboards sounds*

Wait, that guy actually visits /lit/?

No, he's just the most detestable figure in the literary world right now.

The most significant visit from an actual writer /lit/'s ever gotten is probably the time when an expert on one of the board's favourite writers posted in a couple of threads. I doubt he stuck around, he strikes me as too normal to enjoy /lit/'s pathetic quality.

Barely anybody on Cred Forums can read a film like Tony Zhou can, and what he presents is basic as fuck.

I watched silent movies, b/w movies, art movies, loads of different movies, really.

Rear Window, Maguire Wrath of God, Jean de Florette, Sunrise, Black Narcissus, Claire's Knee, Laurel & Hardy, Pygmalion, 12 Angry Men amongst many others.

Hi/Let's review/this/film/cos/you know...that's what I'm/here to do.

His voice makes me lol because he is so earnest.

Maybe he could voice Shuma Gorath in a Doctor Strange movie.

Come on, Tilda, make it happen.

I think you'd like Cinematic Excrement's videos. His reviews contain background information to give you the context of the stuff he reviews. It's pretty neat.

That's like being one of the top 5 athletes in Paralympic Games lmao

A good critic is not one you agree with, it's one who provides insight and an interesting perspective that broadens your view of the art form.

Some of the critics I read/watched most avidky, I strongly disagree with. Barry Norman, Victor Lewis Smith, Roger Ebert, Mark Kermode, Derek Malcolm...they all gave me different perspectives.

YMS actually does review important art films. Look at his top ten lists.
But Cred Forums shits on him because they can't get past the fact that he didn't like a Lars von Trier movie. Cred Forums doesn't know what it wants

>Tfw has action figures in the background that usually have nothing to do with what he's talking about.
>Tfw during his suicide squad review he put a tpb of the shitty New52 SS run.
Its like he enjoys been a pleb.

Probably the first thing you see when you walk into his house.

But YMS would also rather fuck (or get fucked) by a dog than eating meat because "lol its the same thing i was raped as a kid"

Second coming of Chris.

I feel like he spends 5 minutes talking about a movie, but by the time those 5 minutes are up he hasn't really discussed anything about it.

He just goes over the same thing he talks about in every other review. I feel like I just listen to him ramble on random bullshit and then he gives it a score of what he thinks the general census of reddit would give it.

L O L

The average Nolan fan

Is this the guy who fucks dogs?

the difference is that Jahns presents himself as an average guy giving his opinion. Stuckman presents himself as a top reviewer with a vast knowledge

he made a Drive parody vid where he plays the driver but it's fucking obvious he's trying as hard as he can in it, it's so autistic.

>He literally saved people from suicide
I remember him saying that. I can't imagine how depressed you must be to find happiness in a Chris Stuckmann movie review.

I have never seen a more boring critic. He says nothing in his reviews, just boring rants.
> Signs, X2, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Avengers, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier
I dislike him even more now.

sub4sub drama is a recent integrated rule

A lot of critics would actually call him an auteur. That doesn't mean his movies are good, but he is an artist in control of his films, making the kind of movies he wants to make. He's got a movie or two in the Criterion Collection even.

Oh, he's autistic. Well that explains everything.

>Bonus story: he was on Anthony Fantano's podcast and decided to recommend a band to the internet's busiest music nerd, Dire Straits.

IT'S TRUE HAHAHAH
youtu.be/dySI7lckA1Y?t=1h19m57s

what's funny here, i don't get it.

dose fantano hate them?

>what's funny here

Recommending Dire Strates to a music critic.

are they shit or something?

No. They're one of the most popular rock bands of all time.

why is his wife's head so small

oh, literally never heard of them i don't think.

Contrary to Cuckmann, Fantano knows a lot about the media he critiques. Dire Straits is very well known 'dad rock'. Recommending it as an underrated band to Fantano is just absolutely ridiculous. It's like going up to a toy collector and asking him if he's heard of the Pokemon trading card game. Fantano just politely nods to his recommendation and moves on to another topic.

That's okay, your job isn't to listen to music.

I like how he interspersed stories about how he supposedly touched people's lives and helped out disabled kids in between tearing up at getting bullied in order to get more sympathy.

>Hey have you ever heard of this really underrated director, his name is like james cameron or something?

Tried to google about the stuckmann fantano podcast and found this
youtube.com/watch?v=NkgGhogHKEg

jesus, even his fans are autistic

Wow when he went into it I thought he was gonna recommend a really deep cut, but no he literally talks about Sultans of Swing, one of their top 3 songs

They were hugely popular in the U.K. They were pretty popular in America, but not as much.

link please?

Holy autism Batman!

That's atrocious for a self-proclaimed "film buff".

>I don't want to hate this guy.
yes you do

I know way more about cinema than you and him combined.

whats the best reviewer/reviewers aside from rlm?

that's what I like about RLM. They just shit out some stuff and don't take themselves seriously

Douge and company actually think they're master film makers

The only bearable member of Channel Awesome is Todd.

I know he got cucked.

I've always wondered if they have met each other at all. Doug and Nostalgiachick mentioned them, but I've never heard RLM comment on TGWTG's.

oh man, is this one of the guys Chris 'saved' from suicide?

Maybe they're respectful because Doug popularized talking about movies on the internet. Even though I think James Rolfe did his review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 before Doug started up.

>Chris Stuckmann has reasonable opinions on white washing
How surprised are you?

Not very, even autists know this "whitewashing" whiny baby shit is stupid

He saved me from suicide when I realized my life is at least that much better than his.

So he's like every youtube personality ever.

like that fat cunt boogie JUST DIE ALREADY

Wow guys, major topic on one hand a on the other hand b, what do you think, brb eating 9,000 calories. waaaah I cant lose weight

Would someone get butthurt now at Kurosawa for doing King Lear in Sengoku Japan and changing the gender of his children? Of course they would.

Would someone get butthurt at him again for doing Macbeth in Japan? Of course they would.

And what are those people called? Well, Americans obviously

You're forgetting people being butthurt over Orson Welles doing nigger Macbeth. Cred Forumsbait would inundate this board like never before.

I think Shakespeare gets a bit of a pass since literally every interp imaginable has been done and will be done to all of his plays.

Someone post the video of him getting ass hurt on that one collider(?) show about Man of steel. The one where he accuses the guy of not being a fan of film.

This climate of endless internet butthurt sperging nothing gets a pass. I don't give a shit, you could(and probably should at this point) literally have Nigger Excalibur or Finnngolian Hamlet. And I mean, why the fuck not?

What is it with autists and Nolan?

Autists like lots of exposition and over explanation, it just weerks.

How come Nolan isn't loved more on Cred Forums then? Or is this board's autism powerlevel so high we're a different breed so to say?

We have a more advanced form of autism.

He was a few years back, backlash hate, reddit/tumblr's love of inception and DC kids wanting to elevate Snyder made it so the love affair had to end.

I like watching Jahns because his reviews are nothing like professional reviews. Its like the experience of seeing a movie with a buddy and just asking him what he though about it immediately after.

Then why don't you just ask your friends for their opinion instead of wasting your time on shitty youtube "reviews"?

Because me and my friends don't see every movie that comes out, and I'm hardly wasting my time if his average review length is like 4 minutes.

I have no friends, but I still wouldn't ask that guy his opinion.

While pleb he actually has better criticism than Chris

No, that's Adam Johnston, the dog rapist who promotes bestiality.

He is /our guy/
