I wouldn't go as far as saying it's not very good. It is definitely highly overrated though. I honestly don't understand the popularity or volume of discussion brought on by this. Its hamfisted message is about as subtle as a Melissa McCarthy joke, and it's not some great social commentary, but a pretty basic "kid's lesson".
I enjoyed the movie, the animation was really very good, the voice acting ranged from meme to very competent, and the story was a fun, cute mystery that wouldn't be unfamiliar to a Hardy Boys book or Archie comic.

So predictably bland. It's a very forced film. Down to the relationship building to the attempt at justifying a furry pandering music video at the end with sexualized animals as if it was anything other than cringey.
The good part of the film comes when you first enter zootopia and the world building is effective at fleshing out the world some. After that it's all downhill

The characters are pretty good.
The message is nothing new.
Story's pretty predictable and not very interesting.
