I want into space Cred Forums.

What do I watch?

As a sci-fi fan, firefly was pretty boring.

Farscape.
Firefly.
Battlestar Galatica.
Stargate (more Atlantis and Universe than SG1 if you're after space).

Those are the big four of modern sci-fi.

BSG (2004)
Space : Above and Beyond (1995)
Andromeda (2000)

>black womanoid

...

I came here to postBut also Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Interstellar

Away with you.

Babylon 5.
Star Trek TOS Seasons 1-2, TNG , DS9 (I still need to watch them all, but this is best Star Trek)
Firefly and Serenity are pretty good. Not revolutionary, but fun.

Farscape first and foremost.

...

...

where does this fit in?

it's the GOAT

Innerspace

...

This show confused the everloving shit out of me. Between it never being on and only catching random episodes out of order and the fact that there was some kind of unrated version floating around on one of the movie channels I never knew what the fuck was going on. I was constantly running into situations where I would catch an episode on cable tv and have to think for a second and go "Wait, doesn't this show have sexual themes and nudity? Is that the same show? Did I just imagine that?"

Is that Milana?

Fucking Star Trek nigger

Into the massive barrel of Friday FOX sci-fi that wasn't X-Files or Fringe.

Red Dwarf

Whatever you do don't waste time with Dark Matter.
Unless ofc your fetish is to watch your wife banged by a nigger then you fit in the targeted demographic

Cowboy Bebop

Anyone who says Lex or Firefly is a retard. They don't even have enough episodes to build a convincing world.

Farscape is GOAT space/tribal series

B S G
S
G

Outlaw Star
irresponsible captain tylor

eat shit

There was a topless scene in the first season I think. With the best looking gril.

I tried rewatching it but the first season is so fucking boring

I disagree, I think season 1 is really comfy. Also knowing where the character arcs are headed made me appreciate it more on rewatch, it's refreshing to go back to when they were still mistrustful toward each other

Cowboy Bebop
Planetes
Legend of the Galactic Heroes
The Expanse
Cargo

Babylon 5
it's like a novel

If you really want into space, read books. Sci fi books are billion times better than movies/series.

The Expanse

Definitely not pic related, I'll tell you that.

The Expanse
Firefly + movie
Stargate Atlantis and Universe
Killjoys
Dark Matter
Battlestar Galactica
Babylon 5
Farscape
Ascension
The 100

pic related is objectively the most correct response to this question.

It depends a lot on what OP means by space. For some people the moment ayy lmaos are present the show becomes less interesting. There's a certain appeal to the human built sci fi shows like the expanse and firefly that farscape just can't satisfy.

Only after you have a show that wasn't cancelled after a season

>all this nerdshit

Is there nothing that's actually good?????

>sci-fi thread
>complain about nerds

They go hand in hand, good buddy.

Firefly and Farscape are very good. Babylon 5 is cheap, but has god-tier writing and actors. Lexx is good in weird way. Other is an animeshit and 10 season plus bubble gum.

Star Trek is the place to start, watch the original series, well worth your time. Also, comfy AF. If you like gritty futuristic settings watch Blade Runner first, then Cowboy Bebop.

It's the holy trinity of sci fi TV, Film, and Animation

The holy trinity for entry level Sci-Fi, but otherwise I agree

I recently rewatched this on YouTube and I'm absolutely serious when I say it may be in the top 5 TV sci-fi shows ever made

>kick ass theme tune
>kick ass 80th synth soundtrack
>simple, straightforward story with no "filler" episodes
>enjoyable practical effects
>cool spaceships
>one season; doesn't outstay its welcome

>kick ass 80th synth soundtrack
