A strong choice, the 60's came in a little soft getting out of restrictions of censors and by the end of the decade there were a lot more experimental films hitting the theaters, especially the foreign contenders.
I think the 70's have stronger films. Just compare the Sci-fi films of the 60's and 70's.

At least we can agree that the 90's was one of the weakest decades in film to date.

It was actually the 70s, this was then attitudes to boobs and gore changed and became more relaxed and exploitation became more lucrative. It also saw the rise of giallo and poliziotteschi, the two objectively best movie genres.

How's Sleepaway Camp III in comparison to the first?

Better. The original is the most watched and remarkable, but is the weakest quality-wise.
2 is the best and one of the great unsung slashers.

I'll have to check them out soon then! I enjoyed the first, and slashers are my favorite horror genre.

the first was pretty bad, it was obvious that the entire film was built up from the plot twist at the end and the deaths weren't really that creative
and god the acting is fucking atrocious

3 is great tho, don't know if it was intentional or not but the whole film kinda poked fun at slashers and the characters that are usually involved in those kinds of movies

Rewatched Tokyo Drifter, man it's such a fucking good and stylish film. Every time i watch it i love it more and more. May be one of my favorites soon.

Watched Youth of the Beast for the first time and i liked the more "earthy" color schemes, fit the film well. The story was more coherent than Tokyo drifter and branded to kill, but it still very much feels like a Suzuki film.
