>not enjoying a comfy and funny show like south park

as if you hate fun

Watched 5.5 seasons and it just never became interesting.
Won't stomach the last 2.5

Waste of God knows how many hours

>still watching south park over the age of 25

More like
>shows I liked the first two episodes of and am intrigued to see where the story goes this year
Amirite

>browsing Cred Forums over the age of 25

shouldn't you be getting married and having children?

>posting on an imageboard about a cartoon someone watches that you don't watch
>over the age of 25

Kind of calling the kettle black mate.

>falling for the "too old for Cred Forums" meme

are you 16?

Watching South Park is more juvenile than watching capeshit

>comfy and funny

it used to be, a long time ago. it's complete shit now what with how relentlessly topical it is and how they're not telling stories anymore based around the relationships and goals between the main characters. it's just one already dated topical reference after another. it used to be a great little absurdist comedy series, now it's just a 20 minute lecture.

trying to rewatch any of the recent episodes is like trying to rewatch an old episode of the daily show, or read an old newspaper.

I stopped watching it years ago.
But recently it seems promising.
If they manage to keep the level high, I might binge watch all the season when it's over.

Dropped Suits after Mike was arrested and they reduced all characters to morons.

tfw finally managed to finish season 3 after 3 months.

Is it me or is it dead boring and nothing really happens?

It's not just you. How is this show celebrated as one of the very best shows ever, comparative to fixing Breaking Bad and The Wire?
Its kind of comfy, but it's so dull.

it is actually really good, this season and the last.
Much more cohesive season spanning storyline. Sure it's typical, but topical South Park is the best kind, they're the most clever topical TV comedy ever no question.

Not just you. Reddit pretends the show is better than it is.

>Hey, you know who's stupid? People who care about thing X!
>You know what else is stupid? People who are opposed to people who care about thing X!
>Sensible, smart people like us think everyone else is stupid!
How the fuck does anyone with an IQ over 90 give a fuck about this show?

>it's complete shit now
Will kind of agree, with the story arcs they are taking lately.

>they're not telling stories anymore based around the relationships and goals between the main characters
What?

>already dated topical reference after another
Considering they can push these shows out in a weeks time now... I'd like to call that bullshit. They have the 'dated' stuff occasionally mixed in, but the main ideas are pretty up to date and relevant.

>20 minute lecture
Everyone fucking says that. In a sense, this show has been a 20 minute 'lecture' since the beginning. Why can't you just watch a show, laugh at all the goofy shit they parody/piss on, and take it for what it is. As if it is trying to 'teach' you something. It isn't trying to teach you a goddamned thing you shouldn't already know. The whole gist is the characters learning their lesson by whichever silly antics and you already knowing about the lesson they learned far beforehand. God damn.

You kind of sound like you don't even know what the hell you are talking about.

>Mike is an uncover lawyer without the qualification
>quits to do stock trades because he could be legit
>quits to go back to law
>quits to become legit again
>gets arrested

Season 3 is literally
>Brits have come
>Don is having an affair with the school teacher
>Don gets a divorce
>Don sets up SCDP

This.

...

How is anything on Comedy Central remotely comfy? Fuck you're dumb.

it's a bad start but not the worst

Fuck you're a faggot.

Supernatural.
I tried, but I don't have the willpower to go on watching

>gives a respectively nod in your direction while stroking my man beard

If you were watching South Park back in 1998

And you kept watching after that stupid guitar hero episode

I feel really bad for you

Maron

hes an annoying kike

>trumpfags

South Park is good this year though.

Trey and Matt play both sides like a fucking fiddle and the resulting conflicts are hilarious. They're both geniuses in their own right and don't give a fuck about anything. That's why I still watch south park even though it's obviously not as good as it used to be, but there's still gems here and there.
