Cameron isn't fit to lace Nolan's kino boots.

This. Cameron literally said he was an inspiration to him.

Nolan seems more like a velcro kind of guy.

Has Cameron made anything as bad as The Dark Knight Rises or good as The Dark Knight?

Avatar & Terminator 2

One thing Nolan has for himself is his artistic integrity.

In this day and age of reboots and big studio interventions Nolan is still doing whatever he wants.
The market isn't demanding for an another WWII movie, but he is making it because he wants to make it. No forced remake, shoved diversity, strong female leads, political connotations etc. He is doing them from a desire/passion to make them, not because of some studio exec.
Like in the old days.

Don't forget his hardon on analogue cameras

I wouldn't really call Avatar bad. Forgettable or bland perhaps.

> artistic integrity
Cameron doesn't have this?
