RIP Shigechi, I loved that lil ugly nigga

Shigechi was an asshole, but he was also a 13-14 year old kid who was blown up by a serial killer while trying to protect his parents, and that was fucked up.

I liked him and Iggy both and was very upset by both of their deaths. Apparently people don't like those characters but I think they're endearing.

They made a prequel including the better fights from the journey to Egypt

The original OVA though was pretty much just banking on everyone's favorite four fights from Egypt: N'Doul, D'Arby, Ice and DIO. To be fair most of the other Egyptian Gods are complete filler. The only others I'd add are Mariah and especially Petshop

The Death Note Movies were fucking boring to tears, took the original story pacing and shat down its neck with the most nothing directing and performances.
