Thanks man for thinking about me, ill try to squeeze it in my schedule, but i can't promise anything at the moment.

Both Wan and DelTotoro are way too western to adapt Ito.

>Wan and DelTotoro are way too western
Wan is experienced horror director, as for Del Toro, see picture related and say that it's not in any way influenced by Eastern popcult.

Him being a weeb is actually a minus point, if anything PR shows how bad he fumbles with otaku shit.
Wan's understanding of horror is completely opposite to what Junji Ito produces.

I wouldn't mind if Guillermo Del Toro adapted the manga about Junko Furuta. Uncut.

The best people to adpapt Ito are Takashi Miike or Harmony Korine desu.

>PR shows how bad he fumbles with otaku shit
That's to be decided on Silent Hills——I mean Death Stranding.

I can't believe Miike is doing JoJo now. What a strange time we live in.

Junji Ito's stuff is great because it's both funny and disturbing.

Ito can't be film. It's all about his drawing style.

>I can't believe Miike is doing JoJo now. What a strange time we live in.

>Mfw its true

What the flying fuck.

how amusing

Why do people think Ito is scary? And i'm by no means a fan of horror or "scary" movies in any way, i just think Ito's image are more funny than anything.

he's done faithful manga adaptations before, hopefully he wont fuck it up

MY STANDO
AVENUE Q

Damn I loved the new OP.

looks like edgy pseudo intellectual trash

Which one? There's a fuckload of them.

You are trash

It's not.

Guillermo can adapt these
>Hanging Balloons
>Falling
>Long Dream
>Spirals
>Hellstar Remina

Wan can adapt these:
>Headless Statues
>Ancestors
>Groaning Drain
>Neighbouring Window
>Tomie

It's just absurd horror stuff.

Give me a Masters of Horror-like anthology series with each episode based on an Ito manga.

Nah
It's just one of the weirdest horror manga authors out there

Nakayama Masaaki's Seeds of Anxiety is a good start.

>shhh... it will go away...
How does he know how to deal with spider-sharks?

same way they dealt with Raptors

Ito has some cool ideas but can never make a good story out of them. Just when they start ramping up to something interesting they just end
