This documentary is Louis covering himself. That's why he made it. It's completely fucked up that a journalist with that kind of access to one of the most enigmatic and infamous men in Briatin didn't press him properly on the very serious and overwhelming accusations attached to him.

Louis has an exploitative side to him. You can see it in his earlier work and it's the reason he didn't get the Michael Jackson gig. He had a good idea about what Savile was up to but didn't care enough to stop seeing him or start doing his job properly.
