Will this classic ever get a proper, non-shitty sequel?

Will this classic ever get a proper, non-shitty sequel?

I heard the 3rd one was pretty decent, even though it was a direct to dvd thing.
I'd be okay with this getting a 'gritty' reboot

At this point a remake/reboot is more likely

>niel blomkamp directs
>faithful adaption of the book
>cameo of casper van dien just because he doesn't work much and we feel bad for him

My dick would explode

>Being ok with a reboot of anything

You deserve a special circle of hell. New ideas are getting rejected daily because of drooling mongs like yourself who enjoy reboots

I've only seen clips of it, the acting seems very laughable and it only had 1/10th of the budget ($9million) of the original (~$100million).

Don't get me wrong, the acting in the original was also bad but it worked well in the context of the movie.

There's movies that should never be remade.
There's movies that might be ok being remade.
And there's movies that really should be remade.

This fits in the third category.

There is nothing innately wrong with reboots, its just that Hollywood keeps rebooting popular franchises that don't need it. It's perfectly OK to reboot a series if there is potential to improve upon it. Though I am really getting tired of this remake culture.

Feel free to go and choke on some dicks.

A reboot of Starship Troopers to be closer to the novel would be interesting to see to contrast against the movie we have, which openly disdains the source material.

Why does it need a 'proper' sequel tho?

Some things are better off untouched, see Independence Day.

It doesn't need a sequel or a reboot, or anything

That's true but at least it didn't have 1/100th of the originals budget like the second one did

And a lot of it is definitely laughable, but that's why it works.

You're so fucking stupid. I wish you children wouldn't post here.

Is Johnny Rico irrefutable factual proof that Argentina is White?

Cue
>GUYS IT'S SATIRE

Only the rich people in the nice part of town.

>Filipinos
>in any reality white

The third one was good. It would have been great if T'Pol showed tits.

>faithful adaption of the book
It'd be neat to have two film adaptions with conflicting polar opposite messages

no hes not

you wanna know why?

get this

actor playing a role
