What are the best 'retroactive' cameos...

What are the best 'retroactive' cameos? Those times when you're watching a movie and you're completely distracted by a sudden appearance of a famous actor/actress that was a nobody at that time.

Jean Claude Van Damme in Breakin' is probably my favorite. He shows off some of those dance moves he'd make famous in Kickboxer. If I remember right, he said in an interview that he purposely tried to draw attention to himself by doing flips and shit (the flips were unfortunately cut out), it must've worked.

Whitaker looked weird young, like an inflated middle schooler

I prefer him in The Color of Money. Best scene in that movie.

>"Are you a hustler, Amos?"

Brad Pitt as the stoner roommate in True Romance

Benicio in Bond v Narcos

Michael Fassbender in Band of Brothers

Walker Texas ranger
>Spiderman

Murder she wrote
>Walter white

We gave her a nice HONEYMOOOOOOOOOON.

Or Jimmy Fallon, or Simon Pegg, or Big Guy

Sam Rockwell in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Christopher Meloni in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Jane Krakowski in National Lampoon's Vacation

also Bane shows up and then gets killed in a car accident

This post is clearly that of a person that watched a youtube video with this shit, or simply watches garbage television.

Or Apollo from BSG, or any of a zillion other actors. Seriously, check out the BoB cast list on imdb sometime

Peter Dinklage likes little girls

youtu.be/jItz-uNjoZA

Brad Pitt was already famous and a leading man at that point

Goldblum as a rapist in Death Wish.
Fishburne as a rapist in Death Wish 2.

Frodo in Back to the Future 2

And they went on to be some of the best actors out there.

Vin Diesel in Saving Private Ryan

Tuco (middle) from Breaking Bad in Under Siege

even james mcavoy

tuco's in that cop movie with evan hawk too

Jack Black in X Files I guess

not because he was good, but it was weird seeing him younger and in shape

This one is impossible to spot on your own but now that you know it you'll never forget

Dean Norris (Hank Schrader from Breaking Bad) as the mutant with the vagina face in Total Recall

He looks like AJ here.

Raymond Cruz is in a MILLION movies. Any time there's a Hispanic soldier, it's him.
Clear and Present Danger
The Rock
Alien Resurrection
And a bunch of others.

Like in the Sixth Sense. You find out that the dude in that hair piece the whole time . . .that’s Bruce Willis . . . the whole movie.

D.P.O., that's a classic episode

Don Draper and Coulson before they were known as such.

Jack black in every movie he's in.

There's a shitload of retroactive cameos on Seinfeld and ST:TNG, too.

I think the one that stands out the most to me would be Danny DeVito in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. It's almost hard to tell that it's him due to the amount of hair and lack of leathery skin

The X Files had A LOT of retro cameos.

>Ryan Reynolds
>Seth Green
>Shia LeTry Hard
>Countless more

Fuck it weirds me out that Rowdy Roddy Piper was in a John Carpenter movie

Jim Carrey in the 80's movie The Dead Pool with Clint Eastwood. Jim plays a famous rockstar named Johnny Squares.

off the top of my head the x-files also had retro-cameos by giovanni ribisi in that very episode, then there's tony shaloub, shia labeouf, bryan cranston and aaron paul, ryan reynolds, jane lynch, dang i'm gonna rewatch some of those, especially 'soft light' with tony shaloub. sidenote, i want to go back and rewatch every episode of the x-files vince gilligan wrote, now that i think of it

...

Arnold in The Long Goodbye

He dies in it and is a somewhat serious role

Most of you guys are just naming random movies various actors were in before they became household names.

He was also a cameo in Star Trek Ds9 as "hispanic space soldier" in the episode Seige of AR-558

youtube.com/watch?v=7UqMj9WvWo8

Harry Crane with Justette in like 3 episodes of The Office

THAT'S THE POINT OF THE THREAD YOU DIP

One that really stood out to me was adam sandler on the mtv game show remote control.

He would always leave me wondering who is this guy, hes hilarious.

Not really.

Nu-male

Also, Marina Sirtis as a rape victim in Death Wish 3.

Carrot Top in chairman of the board.

I was thinking to myself damn this dude is hot whoever he is.

Jennifer love Hewitt in Byrds of Paradise.
Damn was she fine.

Forgot this

Really? Genuinely curious, what did he star in before '93?

JLH is so fine. I wish I could marry a girl with her features, in that she ages so well.

Also, that footwork is sped up.

River runs through it
Thelma and louise
Johhny suede

Thats about it besides tv show cameos

Heather Graham in License to Drive

The Simpsons on The Tracy Ullman Show.

I fucking miss the 90's. I was only 7 when this film came out, but I really like 1994 to 1999. The movies, shows, fashion, music were comfy as fuck back then.

>Look this up to see if it's true
>Discover he's the SWAT team leader in T2 as well
>Won't be able to watch two of my favourite films ever again without thinking of minerals

Welp

Charlie Sheen in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It's a pretty minor role but it establishes his acting ability really nicely.

Jeff Goldblum in Annie Hall

Best so far. His presence is highly distracting in a way Allen could not possibly have intended.

Holy crap never noticed this...is my life a lie?

Wow never realized that until now. He truly was "the guy" of the child acting world

I hope I get to keep my hairpiece in the afterlife.

Jeff Goldblum in Death Wish

Tobey Maguire in SFW (underrated pre-millenial social commentary kino)
