slumdog millionaire

loved that movie

Good, what boring garbage.

The Artist.

...

>slumdog millionaire
Everybody hated it but it was a genuine "feel good" movie for me. Liked it.

THIS

This is the best example. A movie that everybody was praising at its time, taking the biggest awards, being called revolutionary in some ways, even made a star of a dog (RIP)...completely forgotten.

I hate indians so i avoided that picture like the plague.

Every Oscar movie is forgotten almost instantly, with the exception of maybe Forest Gump.

>Everybody hated it
every 3rd comment or so here is just made up bullshit for no reason

>dude whoa camera on rails

But I remember all of these movies

The King's Speech

Avatar

Spotlight literally came out last year and won Best Picture. It's not forgotten you retard.

what an eye rolling forgettable piece of shit

the war speech at the end with the beethoven music is so cheesy. wow what a grand moment! he made a speech!

fuck off

Spotlight was never remembered in the first place.

>feel good movie
what

That movie where Ben Affleck won an Oscar as Best Film.

I don't even remember it's name right now, oh wait it was named Argo?

But user...HE STOPED STUTTERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hurt Locker

Oscars are a joke desu.

...

>Argo
Best movie ITT though

>forgotten movies
Memento :^)

i really want to know how much they paid to play when the levee breaks in the movie

wouldn't be surprised if it was $1m

Anything with Emma Roberts is insta forgettable.

Nah i watch that occasionally.

...

jennifer aniston just does not age

i think she bathes in the blood of the innocent

"No."

>Virgin
is this supposed to be funny?

she's pretty hot for an old lady

No, it's supposed to be pathetic.

But Memento IS a "forgotten" movie :^)

>being a virgin is just as outlandish and taboo as selling illegal narcotics,

I know far more drug dealers than I know virgins.

>Hollywood perpetuating the lie that sex is everything

It's not though.

>t. virgin

I remember it well, thought it was pretty great.

No Country for Old Men still has it, mainly thanks to Chigurh.

We watched it for movie club at work. I don't think I would have understood the situation as well if I hadn't. Kinda reminded me of The Big Short in the way that it showed complicity on all levels, and the impact these things have from the level of the individual all the way up to society.

I left feeling a little empty when Mark Ruffalo's only excuse as to why he didn't do anything with the info all those years ago was "I don't know", though. I felt like I needed more.

Adaptation is well regarded here on Cred Forums, and rightfully so.

Matchstick Men is probably Nic's most underrated movie...along with Lord of War.

Where do you work where you get to watch movies?

It's informal. We meet once a week to discuss the previous movie, then agree on one between the three of us to be watched before the next week. I set it up with one of my technicians and the IT guy as a way of keeping an eye on him, as there's no wireless here and everything is hardlined to his server room. He's the kind of guy you want to keep close. But as I've spent more time with him, I've learned he's actually a really nice guy.

Most people are. I think when I leave this job, this is the kind of thing I'd like to continue doing.

Watched it 3 times in a row, never forgot.

>tfw watched birdman drinking wine with an incredible qt and i never saw the qt again because i'm a disgusting fatass and i remember literally nothing from the movie because i concentrated on the qt and now i don't want to watch it again because of the memories

>watching kino with a girl

girls are retarded don't waste your time

put on something stupid and get your dick sucked

i don't think she wanted to suck my dick
