He plays it like late season Charlie Kelly, so expect a lot of shrill screaming. The movies ok, just suffers from everyone trying to out improve (aka yell over) each other, instead of making coherent dialogue.
Because it's very well written besides the ending?
It got released like 4 days before Christmas and barely released at that, the studio had it out for the movie, probably because of "those men control the music industry" line.
Effron was really the best part, dude can actually hit jokes well, everything else felt like no one cared and just wanted a paycheck.
