That's not even kind of what he was saying m8. He's just saying Rick is an annoying and unfunny character. Which is true. The best moments of the show have nothing to do with the main characters really. My main issue with this show is all of the funniest things that happen are from lel so random moments like the universal tv and other shit that has nothing to do with the actual arc of each episode. It's like Family Guy cutaways but funnier and with better execution.

Futurama was funny, especially season 1 to 4 but had a lot of good episodes later on as well.

Family Guy was alright way, way back in the beginning.

Simpsons was funny from the start to about season 10-12

South Park used to be funny before it turned into "we shittalk both sides of the weekly argument", it's next to unwatchable now.

Archer was funny for a good while.

Bob's Burgers had some fun episodes, didn't watch the later seasons yet so I don't know about how that turned out.

American Dad is insanely hit or miss but has some good episodes, usually the Roger-heavy ones.

Rick and Morty became one of my favorite shows as soon as I started watching it, now I've probably watched both seasons all the way through at least 3 times. I had never seen Futurama, but I saw a lot of people comparing the two, so I watched a few seasons. I kinda like it, despite it being essentially The Simpsons in space, but the endless barrage of "stop>set up>joke>continue" moments is really hit and miss for me.

I've never seen a single person describe why they like this show. Stuttering and awkwardness isn't the same thing as jokes.

It's lost its luster. Really find it hard to give a shit about whenever the new season airs.

Some of the episodes make you think. Like, for example, when Rick and Morty destroy their world and just take up residence in a timeline where they died. If you're philosophically inclined, it brings up some funny questions

I guess Rick is the main attraction to the show for me. Everyone else is flailing around, acting like their problems are really big, while Rick is wisened enough to not give a shit about anything except himself. But, it's more complex than that, because deep down he kind of does care. It's like seeing a dog with three legs learning how to walk again.

It's also just funny at times, like when Rick and the Devil get in a slap fight in the Devil's store and Rick starts taking his cursed items and making them into priceless treasures

So here's what I don't get... does every alternate Rick/Morty exist in the same simultaneous point in time despite being in different oddball universes? It seems like the Council of Ricks have a very well-established Morty-based society yet how can this be if Morty's really only been going on adventures with him for maybe a year or so, the society seems like it's been going on for years and years yet every Rick and Morty pair seem to be the same age.

They handle both a spatial and chronological direction so when they make a portal they make it for that exact time and place, not just the place.

It just seems like Rick society is oddly advanced and familiar with all the aspects of Mortydom despite the fact every Morty in their city is the exact same age.

Think it's a pretty good show, I will probably watch the new season. It's definitely a show I enjoy watching with a group of people than alone, it seems a bit more humorous, and I have trouble laughing with the show when I'm watching alone.
Season 2 seemed had some weak moments. I like the universe the show has built, and that it appears to me that the ridiculousness of it is self aware, like Trailer Park Boys, but I think that sometimes it doesn't come off that way and I find it less interesting. Anyone else feel that way?
Has anyone seen the clip they made about The State of Georgia case? Thought the black and white one was better than the fully animated one for some reason.
