the ending of part 2 as well

The scene in Home Alone when Buzz asks if French women shave their pitts. As a kid I never understood this but always imagined French women digging holes on the "new" beaches to catch tarantulas.

>pedophile propaganda

Murder them all.

Is this from the first episode?

I understood it as "people don't come back for something everyone experiences, but for something that they believe only they've noticed". The blonde dude isn't coming back because of the sex or the violence, but because he's interested in dorothy, because he thinks he's the only one who noticed when she dropped the can.

Delores* but yeah basically this. It was a really well done scene and makes me glad they got Hopkins in this.

Also

Is the little boy he talks to supposed to be a child version of him, and is it implies that the secret he's working on is the hints of the maze that the mexican girl gave Ed Harris?

I think I was underestimating the writing due to so many duds I've watched lately. Once I read some of the post in the earlier threads I wanted to kick myself in the head. It was really obvious.

it kind of seemed that way user, but the kid seemed more like a security device to get access to what he was working on.

Pretty sure 90% of guests come for rape and murders, Ford is a dumdum

Ah I guess you're probably right. I just kind of assume when he was talking about being on holiday, and Hopkins said his father said the same thing

really liked the second episode, but I saw people on here shit talking it? I thought it was better than the first

it's from the new one

of the people we've seen so far it seems like the veterans are either indulging in some fantasy that hooks them like williams buddy, since he thinks once he lets go of the good guy veneer that he will be someone that he likes as a friend kind of schtick.

Good guy turned badass maybe.

Sadly the best chemistry was hostess meeting william and now they're probably never going to have a scene together again.

So in the scene where MiB is murdering that posse of Mexicans and the tech guy asks Hemsworth if he needs to be slowed down and Hemsworth casually looks at the feed and goes "that man gets whatever he wants" does that drive home for anyone else that

MiB is a survivor of the original Westworld incident "30 years ago"?

Dolores*

no you missed a lot of the early conversation when it got released early on hbogo when every non-american was clamoring to watch it and everyone was shit talking them.

the second episode or material they cut from pilot to make the second episode was great and more of a traditional walk in for a pilot/story.

Thank you, user. I didn't realize i'd been spelling that wrong.

so maybe he was a good guy that we're going to find out had to survive against robots or something which is why he is the way he is?

That's how I see it, personally.

Or

His family was murdered on vacation in Westworld when it first opened, probably by Dolores, so he keeps coming back thinking there was a reason for everything?

Also in the second episode do you guys think there's an underlying significance to the white hats/black hats?

I picked up on that and I realized it might be like an rpg thing where they're picking out how they're going to play in the world maybe?

I think you guys are overthinking the MiB. He's probably just rich as fuck and paid enough to stay for long periods of time. He's clearly been going to the park for decades and during his time there he has found that A) He can no longer stand being in the real world B) hat there is some other forces at play within Westworld, which we know is true given the conversation between office lady and creative writing dude when he tried to get her to backstab Ford.

I think it's just simple symbolism showing who is "good" ie the blonde dude while his buddy who is obviously a bit more deranged wore a black hat

Not sure if there's any constistency to it or it was just pertaining to the two of them.

So the 30 years thing is just a coincidence? Come on.

I think he's just trying to complete some old forgotten storyline. If Delores had killed his family she would have been retired as defective and a danger to others.

>tfw they're going to keep building it up, throwing out cliffhanger after cliffhanger, only to give a stupid non-answer at the end like LOST

This also, some on here are very astute and non bias and some are here just to shit on everything regardless if its good or not.but there is no denying. Westworld is very good.

holy shit okay

def not watching this garbage

that's not from the show

>maniac visionary boss is called Ford
>just like the supreme leader in Brave New World

bravo JJ, bravo.

The creator was trying to explain that there is no point in making raids and questlines as thats not the point of the park. People have god mode on so where is the fun in doing a raid or such?

He was just shitting on D&D. Probably a stannis fan.

...

Ford was talking about why people return to the park. From what we've seen so far, there's a degree of truth to that.

>people have god mode
>no one's genociding every synths every day

lazy writing.

what is this even

>spoiler tag for theories
good autism

Ford is the original creator of Westworld, as in the one from the 1973 film. After the accident with the Gunslinger, the park was eventually re-opened like Jurassic World with much more human-like hosts, with an emphasis on complete safety. However, Ford is driven to try to replicate humanity and create synthetics which can carry on the race's torch - he believes that human extinction is inevitable. Some of the androids are based on real human people, Delores is a replication of his daughter, who died.

The 'different plan' for the park for investors is to make synthetics who can be replicants for themselves, and download their consciousness into to gain immortal bodies. This is at odds with Ford's philosophy that AI should inherit the Earth, and humanity is doomed to dwindle.

The Gunslinger is a visitor from the park from its original incarnation from the movie, and he's essentially become addicted/obsessed with sin. He can't live a normal life outside of Westworld, as he's become addicted to acting out every impulse inside it. The maze design's meaning is only hinted at in the last few pages of the final episode, as it's the emblem for some mysterious company - he comes across another 'shop', where he finds android versions of Hopkins and himself being worked on - cue cliffhanger.

holy shit are you stupid?
only two episodes were released so far

die normal fag and speak for yourself

Never understood this one

...

Some of that shit is ripped the fuck off of Stephen King Novels.

Good god.

>tfw ACTUALLY wasted 4 hours of my life on this garbage
Protip : the movie is incredibly bad and even the porn in it is kinda shit.

It's fucking obvious: sandbox is better than scripted shit

Sneeds feed and seed
Chucks fuck and suck

there was a scene at the end of a Seinfeld episode, about how an old man and woman stole all jerry's sneakers so he and Kramer hop on a bus to go find them, and something significant?? happened on the bus...no idea what the fuck it was referring to

didn't remember this episode at all

>Later, Jerry receives a call from a man who has bought one of his sneakers and is informed that Mom and Pop are selling them in a garage sale in Parsippany, New Jersey. Jerry and Kramer decide to head out there and confront Mom and Pop, but as Jerry's car is in the shop they take the bus instead. On their way to New Jersey, Kramer's nose starts bleeding again, in a scene parodying Midnight Cowboy.

I got my girlfriend's sister to fuck me. Your opinion is shit.

It's a reference to the movie Midnight Cowboy.
