Best Film of the Decade(So far)

This one moved me when I first saw it in 2013 and it still does to this day.

Llewyn Davis moved me more. But this one hit close too.

>also Blue jasmine
>Mud
>ain't them bodies saints
>Before midnight
>to the wonder
>No

Damn, 2013 was GOAT

llewyn davis for me

It was fucking garbage.

/thread

Llewyn Davis is on my watch list actually. I saw the trailer and it looked really solid. Probably going to watch this weekend.

why did it suck

basically lars and the real girl, instead with a cuck clone of tom selleck, scarlett johansen playing an iphone, and hallmark as the new world order

4/10 not entirely terrible

thanks for reading another objective review by user

My favorites so far
>Inside Llewyn Davis
>Under the Skin
>It's Such a Beautiful Day
>Once Upon a Time in Anatolia
>The Grand Budapest Hotel
>Oslo August 31
>Why Don't You Play in Hell?

It didn't even address the ramifications of her being an ai.

The dude was unironically playing a fucking ukulele.

no order

>Embrace of the Serpent
>Whiplash
>Land of the Enlightened
>Inside Llewyn Davis
>12 Years a Slave
>Mad Max: Fury Road
>The Master
>A Field in England

these picks are off the top of my head, so it's more of a personal favorites list.

Lars and the real girl I felt wasn't as meaningful. Joaquin Pheonix seemed like he was truly happy, sad and depressed when talking to Samantha.

A combination of that acting, the soundtrack and the cinematography of Shanghai really made it feel like kino.

It moved me too. I had to keep moving in order not to fall asleep.

I like when they jumped to their deaths at the end.

FUCK YOU GUYS! I UNIRONICALLY LOVED THIS MOVIE

It sucks for them because it hit home a little too hard and it shows a reality that could be here sooner than later.

...

this

I didn't give a shit about the plot but I loved the entire aesthetic of the movie, only thing that kept me watching

Hipster faggot

>Pacific Rim
>Place beyond the Pines
>Oblivion
>Jurassic Park 3-D
Yeah, it's aging with grace so far. Helps that 2016 has been so shit

Why didn't he just go for Amy Adams? Such a beta cuck.

Whiplash

Llewyn Davis was a shitty ass movie. The music wasn't even super good.

A hipster story about losing a cat, being an asshole about losing it, then everything works out in the end.

I can't believe people are really saying that might have been the best movie of the year, I had huge expectations, the movie pissed me off.

OP here just finished it. Had high expectations too and it really disappointed. Arguably one of the worst Coen brothers films i've seen

Hipster bag of shite. Dressed up to sound intelligent when its just plain stupid. Douche bag character, totally fucking sexist.

Pass.

it will warm up once you understand it
