i love lucy

Twilight Zone or Lucy

I still watch Lucy sometimes in the morning and it still makes me laugh.

TV show westerns, but some are better than others.

>comfy watch anytime tier
Bonanza

>serious feels tier
Gunsmoke/The Rifleman

>Lesser but still watchable tier
The Big Valley

>Only if nothing else is on tier
Laramie, Rawhide

Probably the Big Bang Theory

Bewitched

not even hard

It's either Twilight Zone or Get Smart. But Green Acres is pretty OK, too.

Good taste

That's basically how I would describe them

Andy Griffith for comfy

Twilight Zone for 2spooky

This thread has a significant lack of THE CONE OF SILENCE!

MASH probably

This.

I used to watch with my mom when I was little but I've recently gone through the entire series on Netflix. It's max comfy

Super interesting seeing how different culture was back then too. And Andy was even pretty liberal for his time.

Pic related
Also Gilligan's Island, Cheers, Miami Vice, The Lone Ranger and

The Wild Wild West is better than any of those

no not the crawl the CRAW!

I've been meaning to watch this show for the longest time, should I watch the movie before getting into it?

I have an irrational hatred for Andy Griffith because as a kid my stepmom would change the channel to it in the middle of my cartoons and force me to watch it or fuck off to my room

To this day I can't watch it without thinking about that shit

Nah, they're different things really.

Sucks for you.

Andy's life lessons ave problem solving skills still ring true today.

Plus Don Knotts won several emmys for his hilarious but heartfelt portrayal of Barney Fife.

I feel bad for that user. Not about the cartoon thing, but that his real mom and dad couldn't make it work.

Fuck the episodes where Barney guest starred after he left the show were brutal.

Every single one was him trying to convince everyone he was the shit when in reality everyone sees him as a joke and Andy has to come up with a way to validate his delusions of grandeur.

I have no doubt I would love the show if it weren't for my personal issues with it. Oh well, I still have Dick Van Dyke, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Addams Family, Munster, The Donna Reed Show and all the others to enjoy. 60's sitcoms are so damn comfy

I like the anti-war but pro-troops message.

Strangely i enlisted in the Army anyway

I watched old TV shows with my dad constantly as a kid.
>Andy Griffith
>Brady Bunch
>The Munsters (probably my favorite when I was a kid)
>I Dream of Jeannie
>Twilight Zone

I actually had forgotten we used to do that all the time. Thanks for stirring up good memories OP.

I don't think I ever watched Green Acres but this one Nick at Nite ad has stuck with me for over twenty years.

>Understand that this is Eva Gabor, not Zsa Zsa. Eva will not harm you.

Nick at Night promos were great.

This, and I agree.

Second would be Carl Sagan's Cosmos

I don't remember the promos much but I remember playing games on the Nick at Nite website.
