Childhood is idolizing V, adulthood is realizing that Sutler makes more sense

Childhood is idolizing V, adulthood is realizing that Sutler makes more sense...

please leave

No, he's right

I bet you were rooting for winston in 1984 too

>le fascism is bad meme

Imagine the possibilities in an ordered society without the stagnating and inefficient mechanisms of democracy?

>le fascism is good meme

want stormfags to leave

Naruto is better.

>Sutler
>Hitler
I guess the initial "S" stands for subtlety.

Monarchism is the only redpill.

wow..

really makes my brain work

revel in the degeneration pleb

Literally, metaphorically, metaphysically, figuratively, spiritually, emotionally, geometrically and comprehensively kill yourself.

>revel in the oppressive and murderous society that lost and died over 60 years ago

yeah much better

But communism ended 25 years ago

V: Religion is bad, system is bad, Wooooohooooo anarchy!!!!! Killing people!!!!! btw im not evil :3
Sutler: We will give you protection and anything you want but don't commit crimes, okay?

England prevails

>Government comes under scrutiny by a man working alone
>Whole country shuts down and government collapses

Yeah, real nice choice

The Mosley birthline cannot talk about degeneracy.

Wisdom is realising Finch was the best perspective.

talkin bout Nazis obv.

love it when stormfags try to paint democracy and capitalism as a great evil while propping up fascism in the same breath. It's like, how out of touch can you actually be?

JUDAS WAS PAID

I AM MAKING A SACRIFICE

being gay shouldn't be a crime though

The destruction wrought by globalist technocracy is far more reaching and catastrophic than any fascist state could ever achieve.

yeah, just world war 2 and whatever...

lol 60 million people died in just ww2, it beats the next most destructive war (vietnam) by 15 times

The war was a collective effort by the major powers. All were contributing to that tragedy. My point being what we live under now has done irreparable damage to the Earth's biosphere with much longer term implications.

Imagine this being made today... as a jab at Trump...

Owning a quran should be though.

You realize that this "technocracy" is the only thing keeping these 7 billion people on this planet alive right?

He fucked up all the muslims so he's a good guy in my books.

fascism wouldn't assess the issue of global climate change any differently than our modern society. fascist states are slave to industry and therefore would face the same problems with regards to fossil fuel.

Christ Al Gore did some good brainwashing on this faggot.

and as this thread incontrovertibly proves Cred Forumshood is being a ridiculous blustery twat like the Roger Allam character

Get the fuck out of here dictator lover. I bet you hate milk.

Precisely. The grotesquely inflated population is a direct result of it. As will be the untold suffering that will occur when the bubble finally bursts

good point.

>MUH GERMANS WUZ GOOD BOYZ GETTIN THEY COUNTRY ON TRACK

Still not as bad as the untold suffering and humiliation under a fascist regime.

yes the possibilities for the top elite are endless when you shoulder the burden of labor and expense on the vast majority for their benefit.

fascism is not the problem in and of itself. it's human nature and our tendency to exploit each other for our own gain. which is why socialism or fascism, designed for efficiency and even distribution of resources, doesn't play out so well irl. and "democracies" on average have more personal choice of occupation and living style. less welfare babbies statistically too, according to some studies.

I rooted for the Proles. Winston was a weak-minded fool actively helping the regime.

what the fuck is a fascist government gonna do to curb population growth? kill all the "undesirables"? how is that any better than having "grotesquely inflated population"?

fuck off you authoritarian cocksmoker.

say what you will about Hitler bringing post -WWI Germany back to life, I'm not sure what he expected to happen when he invaded Europe and Russia

Ah, the "anyone who disagrees with me is childish, because I said so" line. A classic.

>vietnam

what the fuck are you talking about? vietnam is somewhere near the 25th place.

Childhood is idolizing Winston. Adulthood is realizing that Big Brother makes more sense.

since ww2. we were talking about post-fascism society, why would i say stuff like the crimean war was caused by "globalized technocracy"?

Millenialism is going "Hey, that's the face from Zero Punctuation!"

Well, hitler was apparently an environmentalist. Too bad his society couldn't overcome the massive war effort it needed to get started and we have no real idea how it would have progressed.

hitler wasn't the sole power of the nazi hierarchy and the "massive war effort" you refer to took a steaming shit on the environment. he wasn't any more of an environmentalist than any other statesman.

>fascist states are slave to industry
Lol no. Fascist states are a slave to hierarchy and that's it.

alright , if you specify that "since ww2" than it makes sense.

he was psychopath and they tend to have oddly formed values and an affinity for animals and such

Nice meme Cred Forumsack.

>psychopath
Hitler loved animals - he even took his pet dog with him to WW1 - and was a nationalist.

He was a pretty emotional and in some ways empathetic guy. He was still an asshole but that doesn't make him a psychopath.

>Hitler loved animals

exactly...

>he even took his pet dog with him to WW1

wow he *really* loved dogs!

>psychopaths
>having an affinity for animals.

What the fuck

He also tested poison on his dog, a true animal lover.

really makes you think desu

Wasn't Sutler a complete nutjob who was completely dependent on the surveillance computer by the end of the comic up to the point where he literally fell in love with it?

John Hurt is GOAT when he's playing angry characters.

>adulthood
sure, OP, sure....

>but don't commit crimes, okay?

I feel like you're simplifying a very important negative.

Buzzwords: the thread

What's the point of this movie if 1984 exists?

1984 is gay, capeshit is king.

>durrr what's the point of fantasy if LOTR exists?

Fascism would accomplish much, I think I agree with you OP.
Democracy is just bringing us identity politics and degeneracy, it's a load of shit and the world would be better off without it.

"dude THE GUBBERMUNT IS EVIL lmao" is not a genre.

Real ubermensch rule only themselves and do not need a big brother state

what's the point of 1984 when We exists?

In a way, I think a lot of people are starting to develop this view point. Not so much fascism, but totalitarianism at the very least.

A good example is the aftermath of Brexit. People were honestly trying to flout democracy in favor of getting their side through.

that said what's the point of 1984 when Orwell was a terrible novelist and his essays exists?

>facisim doesn't have identity politics!

Democracy just gives people the ability to argue differing viewpoints, muh degeneracy indeed.

>anarchy
>ever

Capitalism is degenerate, not democracy.

OY VEY THE GOYIM DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE VOTING FOR, SHUT IT DOWN.

>religion is bad
Unless it's Islam apparently. Then you get extra bad boy points for being 'revolutionary'.

The problem with democracy is that many people don't really know what they're voting for and their opinion is shaped by the media. Look at the current election, while dismissing crimes of Hillary Clinton, she could literally kill someone and her voters would still support her. Why would they you ask? Because Trump said the word pussy and that's offensive and he's also racist! They are so brainwashed by corporations and the media to defend the establishment, I've never seen anything like it in 30 years of my life and it's actually quite scary, these people cannot think for themselves. This is the problem with democracy, people will get caught up on the little things like something someone said 11 years ago rather then look at things which have actually happened, like Benghazi, the current mess in Syria and everything else. The media doesn't tell them about these things, it wants to keep them ignorant, and ignorant people will be voting, voting for whomever they're programmed to vote for.
So is it really a democracy when you think of it?

Yeah, Brexit was actually a good bit of democracy in action and frankly, I'm surprised it won, I didn't in a million years expect people to be so anti-establishment. It felt like revolution.

sensing a bit of bias in this post

Because an orwellian dystopia is completely different, you inbred.

>So is it really a democracy when you think of it?
Insofar as people are allowed to think and make their own decisions - yes. However I do understand what you're saying. In places like the US where the level of education and general intelligence can vary wildly from area to area and demographic to demographic, it's very easy for a populist candidate to win by saying the right words and greasing the right palms. This is exacerbated by everyone's inclination to do what's moral rather than what's pragmatic or logical. So we get places like W. Europe where people are voting against their best interests to appease an ethical standard foisted upon them.

There are issues with a dictatorship and they're not all dissimilar from the issues with democracy. Except in the former, one person needs to make a mistake or choose the wrong decision and everything falls apart.

I guess I really don't know - there are advantages and disadvantages to either. Maybe democracy would work better with a smaller, more intelligent population as opposed to the system of mob rule it has become.

Being not-retarded is realizing that these two scenarios are the logical result of what most "SJWs" and moral authority ""progressives"" want done with the world.

nah

Honestly this is true

This isn't, though

>want to police speech
>want to police content
>want to call out and shame anyone who doesn't fall in line

You're fooling no one you tranny, go hang yourself

>it's a "Cred Forums discusses ideology and human society" episode

Hilarity ensues.

>he doesn't know this is a meme several months old

You're right. What we have currently is more like a fusion of Huxley's Brave New World and 1984.

its called dystopian you fucking pleb

>nazism is the only kind of Facism
Wew lad. We're not all weebs.

It's always fun hearing what people who didn't leave their basements for about a year think about humanity and the world outside.

Your childhood: normal

Your adulthood: social alienated angry bitter sociopath who has grasped onto neo-nazism as a defense mechanism to overcompensate for his personal shortcomings by convincing himself his failures are the result of "others", anyone different from him in any way, and if only society was built around putting guys like you on a pedestal, you'll get assigned a girlfriend and friends and you won't be such a loser

Got it! Ironically you really still just have the personality of a child.

t. triggered

lol

>strawman

Thanks for putting in your two cents reddit

maybe Cred Forums's more your speed kid

V, the guy who kidnapped, imprisoned and shaved the head of a Jewish innocent while hinting he was going to Auschwitz her is the "good guy".

>claims strawman
>really just has no comeback, goes to childish safe place and claims "reddit", the internet personification of his "others", out to get him

your really do just have the mind and personality of a child, predictable

it was just a prank

...

I saw somebody post the Batman/Joker one of this on Facebook unironically.

Reminder the V for Vendetta comic books were about anarchy vs fascism but the movie toned down V and made Sutler into a George W. Bush allegory. The Wachowski brothers are such fucking hacks.

That truly stimulated my cortex....

Two easy examples:
- general governor allocates your Zone with less bread than is necessary for living because someone from there insulted him. You try to complain, the popo come fuck you up.
- you know your taxman is stealing bread because he is fat. You complain, the popo come fuck you up.

BEADY

Childhood is idolising Bane, adulthood is realising CIA is the big guy...

Yeah, Moore went to lengths to make the government seem sympathetic and the idea of anarchy/V not some catch all world saver, the movie makes them cartoon bad guys and V into a superhero

>more intelligent population
I love this meme

I can see it both on the left and right wings of politics. The idea that the people who vote against your policies are inherently stupid and cleary need to be educated to fit some non-specific but "just like me" standard to engage in a countries politics.

80's V was great. We come in peace, taking over, Getting humans to grass each other up. Then the resistance and the 5th column and the visitors plan to get a human grill knocked up. The two babies, one reptilian one seemingly normal. Robert Englund, Michael Ironside and Marc fucking Beastmaster Singer.
What a great show. Theme was almost Airwolf tier too.

Julia eating rats and canaries. Still would.

>Julia
Diana.
Went a bit Hellraiser

Except noone mentions the fact that the cardinal was raping children.

Or that the party cronies orchestrated the plague in order to enrich themselves and control the nation.

Or that they essentially werent allowed to have an opinion.

Or the curfew.

Or the henchmen having the right to rape women caught outside curfew.

Or the fact that people get killed by the police without a trial.

Or the "concentration camps" where they experimented on people.

Or the mass murder of faggots.

.
.
.

Fucking children.

So am I Numale if I think this movie is a pretentious, Fedora tipping piece of shit.

Nah, it's pretty fedoraish thanks to the Wachowski brothers. There's nothing wrong with hating it.

democracy facilitates change and is capable of much faster self-correction than one mindset staying in power forever. if you think facism is not stagnation, you need to wikipedia the concept of grey goo.

>democracy facilitates change and is capable of much faster self-correction

Democracy only works on a local level.

this
even the stormfags can't reconcile this shit right here, they just try to ignore it and hope nobody brings it up.

>democracy facilitates change
I seriously hope you don't think this.
