Few Dollars More
Janitors, please lock this thread, tia.
The Searchers
Tombstone
Personally I think your pic pretty much nails it. The True Grit remake was also pretty GOAT.
Close, but no cigar.

2. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
3. For a Few Dollars More
4. Duck, You Sucker
5. A Fistful Of Dollars
Leone is the greatest western director, fite me
The Five Man Army
High Noon
It's not the best, but Appaloosa is probably the best one made in years
Best: Red River
Personal favorite: Dodge City

>nah.. its overrated
Funny how Americans usually prefer the dollars trilogy and Europeans usually OUATITW.
Peckinpah > Leone > Ford
PUTA
BLAZING SADDLES
Django Unchained
Toss up between Outlaw Josey Wales and Unforgiven.
Regardless, Clint is THE Emperor of the Western genre.
The Good the Bad and the Ugly and its not even close. anybody who says anything different is a retard

What's wrong with Tombstone.
kek
The first western I ever watched start to finish was Josey Wales last night and it was very good, I've been going through a Clint Eastwood phase as I did a Dirty Harry marathon two days ago for the first time.
I started to watch that once upon a time in the west a few years ago on netflix and had no idea what was going on or anything. I recently say once upon a time in america and now I understand who Sergio Leone is, that was a great movie.
shit ranking
Great film, but the shitty acting of a lot of the extra's, and the obvious voice dubbing, takes away from the realism that exists in Clint's later films.
Apologies for the autistic question, but how many westerns do you think have been made? Like, all of them, ever.
Could it more than a million, or is that ridiculous?
She Wore a Yellow Ribbon
oh look a retard
>I've been going through a Clint Eastwood phase
Clint is among the greatest film makers and actors of all time.
He may not have the range of some, but he is almost always interesting to watch on film, and his story structure, as a film maker, is top notch.
>more than a million
This isn't horror.
>found the Italian
Sorry, Guido, but it's the truth...
The hateful eight
But you autists will hate it because it's "too new"
Once Upon a Time in the West
The Wild Bunch
Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia
The Searchers
True Grit the Coens' version
Yeah. Too bad he then made American sniper.
He blew it.
>He may not have the range of some
He literally only has 2 facial expressions
You missed The Magnificent Seven at 6
Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid was ruined by the soundtrack, the music selection sucked
>The hateful eight
Was fun, but not among the best ever...

I don't watch modern "war" flicks as they're straight up cringeworthy with how wrong and shitty they get practically everything...
fpbp
How come every Western original is better than it's remake?
>3:10 to Yuma
>True Grit
>Magnificent Seven
>My Darling Clementine/any OK Corral movie
>Django
Not bait mate
I've seen lot of westerns considered the best of all times (like the Leone ones) but the acting, technique and image are terrible. They had good music and history, but that's about it
Modern westerns are far better (but it actually applies for all movies)
>True Grit
Remake is much better
>shit taste and shit grammar
Spot the teenager
...
Westward the Women (1951)
All originals are better dredd and mad max remakes are literally shit
nice b8
How come every original movie ever is better than its remake?
Oh, nice argument!
I prefer the remakes of 3:10 and True Grit way more than original. 3:10 actually has impact in it's finale and True Grit's remake is the superior movie.
Where is my High Plains Drifter bros at?
I'm going to get a lot of hate for this one, but honestly I think it's up there.
The Proposition
the true grit remake is a piece of overrated crap. haven't seen the original one though
Whatever makes you feel better bro.
...
It's better than the original, although John Wayne is a better Rooster than Jeff Bridges.
dude bleak nihilism lmao
You tried
That doesn't mean he didn't roll with it and filled roles that fit him. Check out The Beguiled, he gets a whole school of bitches and killed it.
>Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid was ruined by the soundtrack, the music selection sucked
The Witchfinder General. It's technically not a Western but it's close enough.
Bronson has even less
Yeah Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head while riding around on a bike isn't just hipster garbage at all...
>He literally only has 2 facial expressions
Squinting and grimacing?
i really liked my name is nobody as well
I agree. If only for the drunk lonely riding in the desert.
Road Warrior
3:10 to Yuma
why would that be a western? because of the desert?
