...

is it worth it?

It's definately one of Dreamworks' best.

>Hamlet with lions

Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules and Tarzan are all better than this.

as for non-Disney, Secret of NIMH, Prince of Egypt, Bridge to El Dorado, Wizards, The Thief and the Cobbler, Watership Down, Rock & Rule (Canadian version) and several other I can't remember because my brain is deteriorating with age.

I really like aladdin and robin hood, as a long shot, anyone know where I can find the dutch audio track for robin hood?

I don't think I've ever seen the lion king desu

THICC

youtube.com/watch?v=7_RlH7rnAqg

That was easy.

Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Tarzan, Hunchback of Notre Dame... Lion King is small time

Iron Giant

THIS!

OP BTFO!

Genuine feels, 8/10

You missed something

The Lion King, huh?

hmm?

I thought a good chunk of the Dutch spoke English, what good would a Dutch track do other than provide nostalgia?

I still see the womans giant ass

you said it, nostalgia, I only ever saw it in dutch as a kid, I tried watching it in english but it's just very very weird, this is oddly the only disney animated film I saw/remember in dutch. We had it on VHS, the other disney movies my parents bought abroad when they went on holiday there and were in english

Second best Disney kino after this.

>libtard communist furfag propaganda
top kek

WE

Leave drawkino to the Irish.

Cartoon Saloon make great Eirekino, Song of the Sea was great

I actually like their portrayals in that movie, they're clearly mediterranean folk, which is accurate, instead of blacker than black WE WUZ DINDUS

Leave drawnkino to the English

Good choice.

This has some of the best cinematography and art direction of any animated film I've ever seen, western or eastern.

I can
Chico and Rita

Kind of given considering their influences were classical illustrators and David Lean films.

As much as I love Williams' work, that movie was never officially finished

dat princess

Am I the only one who really likes this? Sure it doesn't make much sense if you aren't familiar with the source material, but when it gets things right, it gets them really well.

The Ringwraiths, Orcs and the background art all make it worthwhile

and the latest version of the Reccobled Cut doesn't help due to pacing issues, sure. You can sorta fix the music and cut things down a bit but really, what's the point when Williams already has his own Workprint yet to be released.

I should draw her one of these days, unsure whether to make it porn or just fan-art

Porn, duh

Williams is pretty much finished with the film. He's screened his own work-in-process version in London, LA and a few other places, and last thing I heard he's working on an entirely new movie with a small crew; of which his short film Prologue is the first few minutes.

only thing that competes with it

I just downloaded it, haven't seen it yet but I had the other poster with Gandalf pointing forever, looking forward to watching it

Watership Down

Fox and the Hound

I seriously hope it's a blu ray rip, watching it in a shitty DVD rip doesn't do the background art justice.

I love the Gandalf poster, it honestly drew 6-year old me in more than the Fellowship of the Ring poster, and so did my dad in fact, because he rented that one by mistake

I seriously hope that version is released, for now the only thing out there is an audio file of the entire presentation (ask and ye shall receive) as well as a few screengrabs on the Oscar site

Everything by Ralph Bakshee

I pick Hercules, pic unrelated.

Why can't we get 2D animation anymore? I really enjoyed those Mickey Mouse shorts and that's all the attention Mickey has gotten in years.

The fuck happened to Disney channel? We had those movies and we had cartoons like Kim Possible,Lizzie McGuire,That's so Raven/shitty follow up Cory in House, and etc.

Disney could balance cartoons and live action on the channel years ago now it's shitty Dan Schneider stuff.

>Every film of a single author
nice way of not giving credit to your post

his animation has soul

Lord of the Rings
American Rock'n'roll
the one with the crows
Felix the cat

3D animation is more profitable and safe for general audiences, unless we get really bloody and violent 3D films like Bakshi's films from back in the day it would shake the foundations for 3D animation, but for now the only thing to get people on their toes is DUDE WEED LMAO seth rogen '''''''comedy''''''', which is literally like a shitty Blue Sky film but with cursing and a shitty orgy scene

I thought Titan A.E. was better.

yeah it's a blu ray rip

if i had to choose between this and aladdin being made in an alternate universe....

i'd take the risk and choose this just to see how it could have been.

It probaly wouldn't have been a huge hit since Warner Brothers never have and never will advertise their films well enough, it would however win several awards and sell really well on video, you know, the same thing happened with the Iron Giant.

I wouldn't know what Williams would still be doing after it though, his studio was shut down shortly after he lost control of the film, so maybe he would've made the ''Prologue'' film sooner.

BUT I'M NOT BROKEN
IN MY DREAM I WIN

What is Watership Down?

A mediocre movie about bunnies.

>Remember first time watching this
>"Man this is going to be shit, isn't it?"
>WITH THE STING OF THE WHIP ON MY SHOULDER

Bambi
Only >muh hunting
or >muh gun rights
fags would disagree

Reminder that scene was all hand drawn as well as the rest of the movie

I always thought this scene would've looked better if they didn't sterelize the shit out of the frame by digitally removing the stutter, film grain and dirt specs, hell, this goes for most films that got this treatment.

For you
