What is with everyone's adoration for this film? Boring as sin and you can't make out what the Godfather is saying! Nothing special happens in the film, no good fights, mediocre dialogue..

It's pretty decent but not the GOAT like so many believe.
Really the best part about the movie was the acting, everything else was just serviceable and not ground-breaking in any way.

Maybe but Jar Jar Binks was fun to watch in his first big role.
It is pretty boring but worth watching to get to Part II which is really fun to watch. It has this epic feel to it that the first movie lacks
